A few weeks before..."I have found someone who could potentially be a powerful ally," Dumbledore told as everyone was sitting around the table, a glint in his eye with a slight smile. "I believe you all may know her. Well, know someone close to her."
"Who? We need all the help we can get," Sirius asked, sitting at the end of the table.
"I agree, we do need all the help. Though I must warn you to not ask questions on her personal life. She has been through much. I have asked her camp director if he would allow her to come and he has agreed. All we need is one more person to help us get her. You all may remember her. Sally Jackson."
It was as if the world stopped for the adults in the room, or well, for those who knew Sally Jackson in school. She was a Hufflepuff, so kind, gentle, and loyal. She was able to make friends with anyone, from any house, even with the Slytherin. She was close friends with the Marauders, and especially with Sirius and Lily. Even Severus Snape. She was powerful and looked out for her friends. She was considered one of the brightest witches of her age.
"Sally? She left the wizarding world as soon as school ended," Molly Weasley stated with an audible gasp, though said nothing of her daughter which she had promised to keep secret. Molly had babysat Sally when she was a child while her uncle was at work, over the years they kept in touch. The family of two visited the Weasleys during most holidays. Though not lately.
"Yes. We need her permission to have her daughter come and help us in this upcoming war," DUmbledore said. Molly gave a look to the headmaster, bringing her daughter into this?
"Daughter?" Sirius asked, surprised at the news.
"Indeed. Her daughter will turn 17 on the 18th. We will need her aid and special skills for the war. Remus, Siriu. I have chosen the both of you to come and aid me in vising Ms. Sally tomorrow," Dumbledore said before bidding goodbye to everyone before leaving.
"Oh it has been so long since I have seen little Persephone," Molly said softly, Arthur agreed with her. The two loved little Percy very much, though she must've grown now. It's been a few years since the Weasley's have seen her.
A moment of silence was taken in as Remus, Mad-Eye, and Sirius gathered this new information in. They didn't say anything about how the Weasley parents knew she had a daughter, it was all too much already to notice.
"She has a daughter?" Remus stated bluntly, reiterating what he had heard. They all couldn't help but wonder who the father was. All the people Sally was close to during school, all were still in Britain with families of their own.
The day after Percy comes home, present time...
A knock was heard at the door in the Jackson household. Gabe was found knocked out on the couch, his face contorted in pain. The two women thought nothing of it, thinking it was just from him drinking too much. Sally was getting some breakfast ready, French Toast, and bacon when the knock came. Percy had slowly gotten up from her empty, fake smile state, from sitting on a chair in the kitchen while talking aimlessly to her mother and going to answer the door.
"Hello," she said softly as she opened the door to reveal what looked like Gandolf, a werewolf and a man all of them dress in weird robes.
"Hello, are you Persephone Jackson?" the Gandolf man said with an odd twinkle in his eye as he looked at her. Percy tensed up, raising a brow and her hand went straight to her pocket where Riptide hid.
"Why?" she asked a tense look on her face.
"We are friends of your mothers, we need to talk with you and her on some... things," Gandolf said with a knowing smile, which kinda creeped out Percy if she was honest. She relaxed ever so much and opened the door to let them in.
"Mom, Gandolf, and Co. are here to see you," Percy said while turning to close the door. When Percy came into the kitchen her mother had a grim look on her face.
"Honey, I have to explain somethings about... My world," her mother tells her, and Percy sighs and sits down.
ONE LONG EXPLANATION LATER BECAUSE I AM LAZY AND DON'T WANT TO EXPLAIN...
"So there is a world with wizards and magic, an evil dude who goes by the name Moldywarts wants to kill all mort-muggles, morggles, if you may, half-bloods, and muggle-borns and killed this kids parents and might or most likely come back soon and bring another war. And you want to go to this Pigpimple school to protect him," Percy summed up what they said in the last two hours, bouncing her leg as she tried to stay focused. Sirius kept eyeing the living room with a small smirk, earning a weird look from Percy. Dumbledore nodded in confirmation. "So Hecate does have a pet world," she spoke to herself. "Schist, I owe the Stolls 10 drachma's."
"Percy, this is your choice. You just got back, but I think this will be good for you. If you do go, just promise me that you will come back, at least for Christmas," her mother pleaded her, holding her hands.
"Mom, I can't make a promise like that. I can promise I will try, I will try my hardest but there's always..." Percy said after a moment of thinking. She wanted to stay, and have a normal life. But she knew the Fates wouldn't allow it. Heck, she couldn't allow it for herself.
"Percy, promise me, please," her mother begged her.
"Mom, I promise I will try to come back. I promise. But knowing my luck, I don't know," Percy sighed. Her mother turned to the three guests and looked them all in the eye. "How long will I stay there?"
"However long they need you. I'll keep in contact. I promise. Keep her safe. Please," she asked Remus and Sirius, who both couldn't help but nod.
"We will come to get you and your belongings by the end of the week," Dumbledore told her. "You will meet with Weasleys and say that you are family friends with them."
"I guess it will work out, you did play with Fred and George when you were younger before we came here. You three were practically inseparable. And your hair always turned blue when you were happy, or red when you were angry. That hasn't happened in a while..." Sally trailed off, eyeing the room where Smelly Gabe was in. Percy perked up at the mention of the set of her favorite twins
"Really? I do remember two sets of red hair when I was younger," Percy smiled, though it didn't look fully genuine. It was better than the night before, Sirius knew that much. She remembered visiting them every so often, but she didn't know they were wizards.
"We will see you at the end of the week," Dumbledore said while they got up, giving a hug to Sally before getting their wands out. "Oh and, Percy, Happy birthday."
And they left.
