"Atsuko, please just listen to me." Again? Did he not get the hint that I just don't want to talk to him?

"No, Mr. Hanbridge, I- wait. I thought you only called me by my last name?" I said as I whirled around to face Andrew. Has he ever called anyone by their name? "Actually, I have never heard you refer to anyone but Diana and Frank by their first name." No, not many at all.

Andrew freezes like a deer in headlights.

"W- well, I assumed since we are roommates now that it is best to have some sense of familiarity towards one another. It wouldn't do to continue calling each other Mr. Hanbridge and Miss Kagari." Right... I don't buy it for a second.

"Who are you?!" Something must have happened to Andrew! I'll find a way to snap him out of it! "Were you stung by something that works like the Cupid Bee?! Did anyone cast any spells near you- wait, we're at Luna Nova, it's impossible to not have a spell cast around you. Fine, but that doesn't rule out a Cupid Bee incident or spells or- oh! Impersonation! Are you someone disguised as Andrew with the Metamorphosis spell!?"

Maybe-Andrew stepped back "Wait, what? Because I stopped calling you Miss Kagari you assume I am an imposter who is committing identity theft? Who would do that?"

"You'd be surprised."

I flushed as Diana walked up behind us. "I said I was sorry," I muttered bashfully, "you know how Hannah and Barbara can be."

"That may be true but it didn't mean you had to use a spell to pretend to be me without my consent, you could have just asked me to get the key," Diana replied.

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Maybe-Andrew asked, obviously confused.

"Time loop shenanigans, I'll tell you about it later if you really are Andrew Hanbridge," I said as I turn to Diana. "Diana! Something is wrong with Andrew! He was either stung by a Cupid Bee-like insect, under a spell, which I guess the bee also covers, or not Andrew at all."

Diana laughed. Rude.

"Why do you think he's not Andrew?" She asked with a grin. "Seriously Akko, your claims get more outrageous all the time"

A slightly red Andrew decided to interrupt at this point. "It may have something to do with me deciding to start calling her Atsuko," he said. "I didn't expect this to be her reaction though."

At this Diana full-on belly laughed, which was kinda strange because I don't think I've seen her laugh, not to mention 'bending over laughing, grabbing her middle for support'. It is a little unnerving.

"D- Diana? Are you okay?" I hesitantly ask.

"I- I'm fine Akko it's just-" the laughing continued.

~*~^~^~*~

After Diana assured me that it was in fact Andrew and not an imposter and that he wasn't, in fact, under a spell, she walked us to our room.

"We have room inspections, you know. I thought Andrew would have told you. We do them every week to make sure that the co-ed rooms are working out for everyone who got them and that students are not doing anything... unsavory." Diana informs us with a slight grimace. "Although I am surprised to see you two rooming together. Didn't you know the co-ed rooms only got a bed each until the program got more funding?"

I did not know this, mostly because Sucy signed me up and I may have slept through anything with the information. Actually I know I slept through it because Sucy grew a mushroom on my head, again.

I looked around the room, the very messy room that Andrew and I had not gotten around to cleaning yet, as Diana and Andrew talked. The room was a mess. A disaster waiting to happen.

"...and if the rooms aren't cleaned properly you could get chores or some sort of punishment. That hadn't been decided before the schools did the merging." Diana informed Andrew. Great.

As Diana left, I looked at Andrew. "We need to clean, I am tired of detention and all the chores," I told him in a matter of fact way.

"Agreed, I'll make the bed and start putting away things from boxes and suitcases." He told me as he moved to do just that.

I nodded and got to work. Soon, this room would be nice and tidy.

"Why did you bring lamps?"

"I didn't know what this school would have! They don't have phones, email, or mail that isn't sent in some weird, magical way!"

"True"
