Bug in This Game

Chapter 20 - Core

Izoke entered the tent and saw Sumiko holding the blanket tightly with her hand like she was scared and grinding her teeth.

"Sumiko..." Izoke calls her with a polite voice.

Sumiko looks toward him, "Izoke you came. Are you okay? I heard voices of the beast. Are you hurt anywhere?" She says by holding his arm by throwing the blanket.

"I am okay. Don't be scared, I promised that I will protect you with my life and I will keep that promise..." Izoke replied by hugging her in order to make her feel safe, "Now, you can sleep. I will be guarding from outside the tent." Saying that he stands up and gets outside of the tent.

Sumiko smiles smoothly with her rosy lip and sleeps by covering herself with a blanket.

Izoke goes to another tent looking if there is anything useful. He was searching but there was nothing other than some pig meat. He started walking around near the tent to see if there are any wolf left. Suddenly he saw some kind of crystal which was round in shape and glowing with orange color on the ground. It was near the place where he killed a wolf which was quite big than others. He takes a look and picks it up from the ground. Suddenly some text showed up above the crystal.

*Wolf Leader core: Core of the wolf leader which can help to boost player level rapidly. Use it on your own risk.*

'Wolf leader core, I guess there was also a wolf leading others. It can help to boost my level, that's cool but there is also a risk. What should I do?' Izoke thought by looking at the glowing core. He pressed the core with his hand and suddenly a bar popup,

'I should try out, It will not kill me right' Izoke thought with a confused face placing a finger and thumb on his chin but he takes a deep breath and internally says 'YES'

The core started to glow orange more than before and started to insert in Izoke body through his eyes, nose, and mouth, it was like he was sucking all those rays like a vacuum cleaner. It stopped after a while and Izoke dropped the core which was now black in color. He falls on the ground with his hand and leg like a wolf...

"Arghhhhh"

He rolled in the ground here and there with pain. After a while, the pain dropped and he also fell asleep there.

...

"Izoke Izoke Izokeeee" Sumiko was calling him by moving his body which was lying on the ground near the campfire. It was already morning.

Hearing Sumiko's voice, he slowly wakes up from the ground and opens his eyes smoothly.

"What is wrong with your eyes?" Sumiko said to him with a loud and worried voice.

"What are you even saying?" He replied by rubbing his eyes.

"See it yourself. I can't explain it." Sumiko said with a shocked face and walked somewhere. Actually, it was a nature call.

'What is she saying?' he thought and gets up. His back was hurting a lot. A notification popup...

Wolf leader core has been consumed

Level upgraded by double.

Current level 35 + 35 = 70

'What the F**k...' Izoke gets shocked by seeing it. It was totally unexpected that his level has been doubled just by consuming the core of the wolf leader. But he didn't know that if he would have sold that core then, he would get a large number of gold coins which he can buy a castle on the game. He also remembers that Sumiko saying something about his eyes. So, he went to a little pond which was pretty near to the tent. He went there and look at his face reflected in the pond water.
