Liam

She thrashed around, the blade falling down the tall building, trying to free herself from Zayn’s grip. She yelled and scratched at his hand. She wanted to fall in the first place.

“Guys! Please! Help me!” Zayn shouted, unfreezing me from my spot. We grabbed on Terra’s hand and pulled her back up from the other side of the cement railing. It was difficult to return her back into her apartment because she fought us.

She was no match against us five boys, though.

Perrie had closed the balcony door as soon as we all got in.

“No! You should have let me fall! You shouldn’t have come here! It was all going perfectly until all of you came here! You should have left me alone! I want to die!” Terra yelled, as she kicked and punched us. We held her hands and feet down, stopping her from doing anything to hurt herself.

She had tears falling freely down her face, which was covered in slashes that seemed to be done by herself.

After a few more violent attacks from her, she stopped altogether.

She stopped crying, stopped talking, stopped fighting.

We let her go after a few more agonizing minutes of waiting for her next move. She let her head hang forward and her body limp.

Sweat beaded up on my forehead, and I wiped it away with the back of my hand. I looked around if everyone else was alright.

They were all staring at Terra Delair. Danielle and Eleanor were quietly crying, Perrie was frozen by the doors with a hand on her mouth, Mia was gripping the towels she held, and the rest of the boys were just staring.

I looked back at her and that’s when I saw it was not only her face and wrists that had slashes from the blade. They were all over her body.

On her arms, her legs, her feet, everywhere. They were long and deep enough to have blood oozing out.

“Terra, we have to take you to the hospital.” I said in a low voice.

She snapped her head to me, giving me a blank stare with bloodshot eyes.

“Why are you doing… this?” she whispered. At that moment, a lump formed in my throat, feeling tears to come soon. It pained to see Terra like this. She was like a sister to me, and to see what’s happened with her, it was heartbreaking.

She was Terra Delair, the most famous female singer who could belt out any notes she wanted to, the woman who was at the top of her game and the world by the age of 18. She always smiled and has always been humble and down-to-earth. Everyone loved her.

But now, she’s a broken and weak girl, a definite contrast to what she was before.

No one even knew she had the tendency to do this, or that she had such thoughts.

“Why didn’t you just let me fall? I just wanted this to end... I-I can’t take it anymore.” She whispered, pausing as she looked at her damaged wrists.

The rest of us couldn’t talk, unsure that if we say something, it would be wrong and it would trigger her again.

She continued talking.

“Why not huh? You were going to leave me alone anyway, right? Everyone leaves. That’s just it. I see no point of you saving me, really.”

“I’m useless.” She whispered before dropping to the ground on her side.

We all scrambled to her. We moved her face up and we saw that she had already fainted. I felt for a pulse on her neck, which was covered with slashes as well.

There was. A very weak one though.

“We have to take her to the hospital now!” I yelled and Niall carried her right away, walking towards the doors in a flash.

“I’ll drive. Mia, come with me.” Harry said in a rush and followed Niall out.

“I’ll drive the girls back to the hotel.” Zayn suggested.

“I’m going to follow them to the hospital. Louis?” I spoke up.

“We’re going too!” Eleanor said, Danielle beside her.

“Babe, you were scared enough. We can handle it. I think you should go with Zayn back to the hotel.” Louis reasoned.

“No, we want to be there for Terra! Just in case.” Danielle said and looked at me.

I sighed, “Let them come, mate. We can’t stop them.”

The four of us went to the car I brought and we sped off. Louis called Niall to ask where they were taking her.

“Okay, mate. Yeah, see ya.” Louis said and told me the hospital they went to.

I floored the pedal, my heart thumping in my chest.

Please, let this not be the end.
