When both men were buckled up, Joe asked, "So, how is Cesaro?"

"What?" Jon polled, utterly confused.

"You said you were speaking to him in the cafeteria. Didn't you?"

"Oh yes! Cesaro! He's doing well. He said 'hi' by the way..." Jon countered, trying his best not to sound suspicious.

"Alrighty then. Shall we hit the road?" Joe smirked.

"We shall," Jon replied, returning the grin.

Once arriving at the hotel, Joe went to the front desk to get both the boys signed in as Jon sat down on the lobby couch, waiting for Joe.

Eventually, Joe came back with their keycard to their hotel room. 0215 was their hotel room number.

Once they got into their compartment, they unpacked their bits and pieces, brushed their teeth and put on some comfy clothes.

The boys finally got into their separate beds and tried to get some sleep. It was a two-bedroom cabin, so Joe slept in one bed and Jon slept in the other.

Joe was fast asleep, loud snores escaping his slightly parted lips. On the other hand, Jon was wide awake. He couldn't sleep... He wanted Colby next to him right now. Colby and Jon always used to sleep in the same bed because Joe always needed his own bed, he always needs his own space. Lopez and Good would always laugh at Joes loud snores and would tell jokes if they couldn't sleep, which was pretty much every night. That will never happen again now... Jon thought to himself.

Flashback

It was at least 2:30 in the morning and two-thirds of the shield boys were still awake. Colby and Jon.

"He snores so loudly," Colby giggled.

"You could probably hear him if you were on the other side of the planet!" Jon chuckled, causing Colby to also snicker.

The two were originally meant to be asleep, they both had a match the next day. But due to Joes snoring, neither of them could.

"I'm hungry..." Colby groaned, abruptly. Colby always wanted a midnight snack, it was like his signature thing to do at sundown.

"Of course you do," Jon sighed, playfully rolling his eyes, "C'mon, baby boy, let's get you some food,"

"Yay!" Colby quietly cheered, making sure not to disturb Joe's beauty sleep.

The two went to the kitchen and saw that there was nothing in the fridge.

"There's nothing here!" Colby whined. He got stubborn when he was hungry. Really stubborn.

"Shh! Your ass is gonna get us caught!" Jon hushed, making Colby groan. He was acting like a child right now, but Jon didn't mind. This was how Colby was. Jon wouldn't trade him for anyone in the world.

Jon then looked through the top cupboards. Suddenly, a dozen plates and bowls came crashing down on him resulting in him falling down.

"Hm. Shh, he said," Colby mocked, looking down at a Jon.

"COLBY DANIEL LOPEZ AND JONATHAN DAVID GOOD! GET YOUR ASSES IN BED RIGHT NOW BEFORE I SEND YOU TWO TO A HOSPITAL!!" They heard Joe yell.

The two ran and scrambled their way back to bed giggling and chuckling, finally, trying to get some rest...

End of flashback

Jon sighed. Oh, how he loved them little moments with Colby. Now it was all gone...

Maybe Joe was right. Maybe Jon should just try and forget about Colby... I mean, you've gotta do what's best for business...
