You can't help but to smile over his cute actions. You caressed his patted his head and a bigger smile plastered on your face.

"Come, noona bring you somewhere!"

He nodded happily and hold your hand while swinging it over to the front and backwards. The others decided to went home first after that

It was getting darker but you guys were at the candy shop and some random shops as you bought everything he wanted. He bought something and then when you guys exit the shop, he pulled your hand and signaling you to crouched.

You did like what he want to and then, he wore something on your milky white neck. When he's done, he backed away and smiles the warmest smile ever.

"Please keep that gift from me, noona!"

You look down and spotted a locket with a shape of heart. You open it up and a song can be heard from it. You looked towards Shin and smile as you slowly hugging his small self. He hugged you tightly in return and planted a kissed on your cheek.

"Thank you." you whispered.

He pulled away from the hugs and smile before kissing your forehead.

"Always remember me, noona."

When he said that, both you and Junseong was suprised by his words. You looked at him in concern as he still gave you the warmest smiles he had.

"What do you mean?"

He just immediately shook his head and then you guys continued to walked again. As you guys were crossing the road, a fast car drove towards you guys.

You and Junseong didn't have enough time to react when both of you suddenly feel like you've been pushed off forward.

You landed on the ground with both of your arms as you bruised both of your knees. You immediately snapped your head backwards and Shin . . .

Get hit by that fucking car . . .

"SHIN!!"

It was too late, he got hit by the car and his body rolled on the car rooftop as his body harshly dropped on the ground. His head was covered up with blood and he was laying in his own pool of blood.

As fast as lightning, you ran over him but accidentally tripped yourself over. You just pushed yourself and ran over his body.

When you get beside him already, you picked his body over and shake him off.

"Shin, n-no please! H-hold o-on!" you stuttered as you throw his arms over your shoulders and gave him a piggy back ride.

You got on your feet and started to sprinted yourself along the road. Junseong immediately ran with you when you spotted Nancy and the others school's princes at the bus stop.

They spotted you but you could only care off Shin since he was the only one the stuck inside your head. You ran pass them when suddenly you heard footsteps behind you.

You turn and saw they started to join you. You just ignored them and started to ran even faster. Without noticing, you tripped yourself over again for the second times.

Both of your knees bruised up with those red liquid all over your knees. You just ignored the pain when suddenly a soft whispered can be heard.

"I finally be the hero, noona. I've fulfilled the promises to protect you. I've become one." he weakly said.

Tears streamed down your face as you started to choke on your own breath and sobs.

"You are! You are my hero and always be, Shin!" you said while running.

You guys finally arrived at the hospital and nurses started to help you over with Shin. They brought his body on the bed while running to the emergency room.

You were also running along but then you got stopped by a nurse. You stopped and he went away. You can't help but to sink yourself on the empty chair nearby.

Footsteps can be heard then and someone stopped by you as you still covered your face with your palms.

"Y/n-"

You looked towards the person and saw Nancy with Junseong behind her. You opened your mouth to say something but couldn't.

Then, Nancy pulled you into a hug as you sobs harder on her shoulder while Junseong looked at you in concern same goes to the others.

Then, the doctor finally came out of the room after it feels like forever you've been waiting. You immediately got off from your seat and went over him.

"Are you Hwang Shin Jun's guardian?"

"Yes! How is he?"

His face look unhappy and it scared the hell out of you. Then, he put his hand on your shoulder and smile in sympathy.

"I'm sorry but he couldn't make it."

Your heart sinked and your breath hitched hearing the news. He then excused himself and you still frozen in your place as you feel like you've been stabbed all over.

"Y/n-"

You started to backed away and enter the room just to see Shin's lifeless body lying on the bed.

You went over him and put your shaky hand on his forehead. You bend yourself towards his head and planted a long kissed on his forehead.

After that, you hugged his body and sobbed silently as your body shaking violently.

"I'm sorry." you whispered as that was the only words you said all over.

Then, a someone pulled your body away but you struggles and the nurses took him away which make you struggles even more.

"Fucking let me go!" you harshly spat which only get into someone embrace.

"He's gone."

You knew it's Junseong's voice but you couldn't really accept the fact that Shin was gone, forever.

"No, he's not! Just fucking let me go!!"

His grips get tighter even more which make you to just sink yourself into his chest.

"Let me go." you whispered.

Nancy's pov

It hurts me seeing Y/n struggles herself up like that. Her eyes and nose went red due to crying to much and the veins on her neck and her knuckles popped up which only make her look scarier than she was before.

When she's stopped struggling, Junseong let her off and she slowly leave us behind. We decided to follow her but keeping our distances a bit far from her.

When all of us finally exited the building, Y/n ran her fingers along her bangs while sobbing. When we arrive at the quiet place, she suddenly shouted.

"AAAAAAA!!!!"

When she's finally stop shouting, her body was shaking violently as a fog can be seen leaving her mouth.

I couldn't help but to cry silently seeing her.
