Anarchy, the planet to which all criminals are sent, no matter how small the crime or how young the perpetrator. The entire planet is a prison, from the impenetrable fortress meant to detain prisoners, to the deadly climate and terrain, not to mention the ravenous alien monsters that roam the surface and underground. There is only death to those who attempt escape.Years have passed since it was established, and those living on Anarchy have created their own makeshift society. Most prisoners live out their entire lives either detained to cells for their defiance, or performing manual labour and menial tasks in order to live comfortably and get rewards for their complacency.
There is one opportunity for people to earn their freedom: joining the Expedition Force.
They roam the treacherous terrain and go head-to-head with the monsters that infest the planet, doing their best to eradicate them all in the hopes that they'll be pardoned and allowed back on earth. It takes years of training and a strengthened resolve to make it onto the team, and even then there's no guarantee that people live long enough to see the freedom they crave.
The new batch of recruits are young and angry. All wronged in some way, they are willing to cheat, steal, and even kill to get back home. Or die trying.
But the truth is that there is no freedom at all, and everything they know about Anarchy is a lie. It's not a prison—it's a detainment camp.
Every prisoner residing on the planet is a member of an alien race known as the Berserkers, descendants of the monsters they've been killing for years. They were all rounded up and sent to Anarchy under false accusations because the people of earth saw them as a threat and wanted them gone.
As they dig deeper into the history of Anarchy and the Berserkers, more sinister truths come to light, and they're faced with the harsh reality that they will never be welcomed home and are doomed to live a life without ever seeing their loved ones again.
But they are done with complacency and despair. If their freedom won't be granted, they will take it themselves. And if the people of earth despise them so much, they will give them a reason to. They will become the thing humans so desperately feared.
They will bring anarchy to earth.
