A/n: Fun fact: if this was a male self insert, his name would've been Aku Hoshi

"We're you listening in to our conversation?" Horikita asked us both with narrowed eyes

"The walls were surprisingly thick, so we couldn't hear much" Kiyotaka lied to Horikita as Chabashira was about to retort to his answer

"Nope, we heard everything" I answered truthfully much to the surprise of both Horikita and Chabashira

"Sensei, why would you do this?" Horikita said to Chabashira, understandingly angered by the obvious set up that Chabashira placed

"It was necessary, now then Ayanakoji and Hoshi, I'll explain why you're here" Chabashira said, dismissing Horikita's words

"If you'll excuse me..." Horikita muttered frustratingly as she headed towards the door

"It'll be your best interest to stay, it may provide you with a small hint to reach Class A" Chabashira knew where to pull and didn't hesitate to mention Class A, which was Horikita's goal

Horikita immediately stopped in her tracks and sat back down "please, keep it brief" she emotionlessly said

Chabashira looked at her clipboard as she led out a small chuckle

"You're quite an interesting student Ayanakoji" she said as she placed down a rather familiar paper on the table

'Oh Ayanakoji, the first mistake you did was getting 50% on all the tests if you truly want to live a normal life away from there'

She then began explaining to us Ayanakoji's abnormal tests which Horikita could only look at Ayanakoji in shock

During the entire time, I stayed silent as I observed Chabashira with interest, I of course knew the true reason for this entire set up

Oh I wonder why? Why would she ever want to set up perhaps the most ambitious student in her class that strives for Class A and the two students who are more remarkable than they let others on?

I could easily see through her entire scheme, she wants us to work with Horikita to surpass Class A, and knowing Horikita who's practically obsessed with it, she's not going to let us go until we relent and decide to help her

But was there a reason why? Maybe benefits that aren't discussed that are given to the teacher who instructs Class A? Or perhaps...

A grudge, a promise of some sort, but that doesn't matter at the moment

She then later instructed us to leave as she soon had a meeting, Kiyotaka glanced at me with confusion

"Later" I whispered to him as he nodded and we left as quickly as possible

Kiyotaka obviously wanted to know the answer on why despite that I was also called with him, she hadn't mentioned me in the slightest and only focused on Kiyotaka

The answer was obvious, she couldn't, she had nothing against me since all my test scores were random, but she had her suspicious on me since I was Kiyotaka's brother

"Wait!" We heard Horikita yell as Kiyotaka and I only sped up our own paces, as we both saw where it was going if Horikita caught up

"Was your score really just a coincidence?" She asked Kiyotaka suspiciously as she tried to keep up with our pace

I stayed silent as I listened to the conversation, as far as I could tell as Horikita kept talking on how to improve Class D into Class A, Kiyotaka wasn't interested in the slightest
