What She sees

(Pls don't point out that there is no background,I know there isn't!!!
P.S this includes an updated Maemi appearance)

Toru's invisible fingers pressed down on the Camera button,taking the picture. Toru had finally gotten a new phone after her old one broke,she had Mineta to thank for that one.

She examined the photo,zooming in slightly.

The picture was of Maemi,to memorialize her long hair before it was cut off. Maemi looked...well...uncomfortable was an understatement,she looked downright horrified. Her yellow eyes stared daggers at her shoulder,while her hands her balled into fists.

"...Toru? How did the picture come out?" Maemi asked,looking over at her best friend.

"Oh!...it's just...Mae can you come over here for a second.

When Maemi saw the picture she kept a cool expression,mainly to hide the panic rising inside.
"Damn it! I'm sorry,I ruined the shot. There was-or at least I thought there was a bee,and it got kinda closer then I could deal with and...well" She gestured to the picture.

Even though Toru's face was invisible,Maemi could tell she really wasn't convinced. Her hand found Maemi's shoulder. "Is something wrong,Mae? Anything I can do to help?"

"No! Nothing is wrong,I assure you!"

"If nothing is wrong then why are you panicking?"

"I'm scared the bees will come back. Wait-now that I think about it there is something you can help with!!"

"...what is it?"

"I bought some bug spray,you know,back when we went to Training Camp. I haven't used it yet,but better late then never,right!?" 

"If that makes you happy. Are you sure?"

"Huh?"

"Are you sure that's what you want?"

Maemi's tone changed from casual to irritated

"Don't try to read me,you can't. All I want is some bug spray,please. It's on my nightstand. That.is.what.I.want!"

Toru wasn't going to give up that easily,especially since this was her best friend. But,she knew to lie low,as to not awake the slumbering beast in Maemi's head. She changed her tone as well,going back to the sweet cutesy voice everyone associated with her.

"Well...if that's what you want. I'll be right back,Mimi-Chan~. Don't go running while I'm gone." Toru giggled,turning and walking into the dorms with a perky walk.

She needed to figure out what was wrong with Maemi,and perhaps,even May.

Maemi's hands started shaking,a habit she picked up when May came into her life. She called out to her more Emotional Side,seeking a conversation.
"Was that you?!?"

"I'm-"

"I need an answer!!!"

"You didn't let me finish. I was going to say "I'm not sure,I'm just as confused as you!"

"What are we going to do,what was that thing. It had to be in our imagination,Toru didn't see it."

"Maybe she can't she whatever it was,maybe only we can."

"I've never seen anything like it,do you have any ideas?"

"...maybe a demon haunting us perhaps? I only see and hear what you see and hear,I know as much as you!"

"Maybe we should...just ignore it. If it realises that it can't bother us,then maybe it will leave us alone."

"I thought you were supposed to be our intelligence,are we really this stupid!?"

"If this happens again,then we'll look into it,but until then,let's just keep our heads down."

'More like keep our heads buried in the sand' Thought May. She kept coming back to the image her and Maemi saw,what was beside them. God,don't let that thing come back,that is all I she asked,for not just her safety,but Maemi's as well.

If only she could pray for the image to leave her head,but that was,as to be expected,futile
