I guess staying here for the night would be good enough. It wasn't an eventful day anyways. But if I try and force something good to happen, I might get trapped by raiders or worse, zombies. Both are tough to fight while on my own.
I've just been living shelter to shelter each night, wondering if I'd walk in on some truly bad stuff happening, but my luck has saved me this far or at least, delayed the inevitable. It wasn't a difference if I stayed in the forest for shelter or found myself in a suburban house, both were rugged and dirty from these long months of wear and tear that this world loves to put on whatever is left alive.
However, I better get some shuteye before nightfalls, so I don't hear those haunting growls that the zombies muster. Those freaks were worse than any nightmare I've ever had. Even worse than how the media depicted them years ago. This is real life, and I can't allow any fantasy become the reason for my demise.
