Tilly's POV
It was about 5 P.M., we were going to dinner at Alaric's. I was pretty tired and just wanted to stay home honestly, but of course I had to go.
"Hurry it up Tilly, we need to leave in 5 minutes!" Yells Stefan up the stairs.
I rolled my eyes and continued getting ready for the dinner, I guess it was a dinner to celebrate Alaric's engagement I guess? I had to dress up somewhat nice. I finished getting ready and made my way downstairs where both Damon and Stefan were cleaned up looking at their watches.
"About time, let's go." Damon says as he walks out of the house and to the car.
I follow and get in the backseat and play on my phone for a little bit.
"You better not be on that phone the entire time we're at dinner..." Stefan says and I roll my eyes hoping he wouldn't see.
He saw...
"HEY!" He shouts and turns around in his seat.
I jump a little bit and look at him.
"You understand me?" Stefan asks more sternly than usual.
I turn off my phone, put it in my pocket then turn to look out the window.
"Yes sir, I understand." I say as he nods and turns himself back around.
It wasn't much longer till we got to Alaric's! I jumped out the car quickly to see Jeremy, since him and I are good friends. I run up to the door and knock politely as Stefan and Damon follow behind slowly. Elena opens the door and greets us, welcoming us in.
"Hi Elena!" I say waving and walking inside to find Jeremy.
I ran to Alaric to ask where Jeremy was.
"Hey Alaric!"
"Tilly! I'm so glad you ca-" I cut him off.
"Do you know where Jeremy is?" I ask politely and smile.
He stood there in shock for a second and then responded.
"He should be up in his room." He says smiling.
"Cool, thanks Alaric." I say as I run up the stairs and knock on his door.
"Come in." Jeremy says.
I go into his room.
"WHATS UPPP JEREMY!" I ask jumping onto his bed.
"Nothing much Til, just bored. I'm grounded." He rolls his eyes.
"Yikes, that's not fun." I reply looking down because I didn't get grounded.
"Yeah, but at least we can hangout! Wanna play some video games or something before dinner?" He asks me.
I nod and we run down the stairs to the tv room to play some Mario Cart. I turn on the tv and he grabs the controllers. And then Damon walks in. He turns off the TV and stands in front of it.
"DAMON! We were playing games!" I said to him whining.
"Jeremy is grounded, and you need to be more respectful, so NO GAMES." Damon says as he rips the controllers out of our hands.
I try to take the controllers back using my vampire strength, and surprised I actually got them out of his hand, but then Damon was super mad.
"Matilda!" He raises his voice at me.
I just stare at him blankly and turn pale.
"Jeremy, go help Alaric." Damon tells Jeremy.
I knew I was in big trouble. Jeremy left the room and gave me a little smile as he left. I then look at the floor, while Damon stares at me without saying a word. After a good 39 seconds of awkward silences Damon spoke up.
