Where and Back

♢Chapter 1

A/N:I'm so sorry this is way over due I ended up doing something dumb and got myself grounded! I'm ungrounded now but I was unable to write anything :( so I made it extra long for yall!

Ash and his friends were just walking on the dirt road, on their way to Snowbell City.
Bonnie and Clemont were arguing about Clemont's latest inventions and how he isn't the greatest at naming them. He turned to glance at Serena, who was just giggling about the siblings shenanigans. This brought a smile to his face.

Pikachu starred confused, but seemed to have brushed off any suspicion he'd have on his trainer. Ash hadn't admitted it but he had grown fond of the honey blonde girl. Ever since she cut her hair, Ash caught himself always thinking about the performer. She'd grown since they were kids and he was liking what he was seeing. She was much more mature and braver than she was when they first reunited (though he may or may not have forgotten her for a moment or two) she's very kind and genuine about her dream and passion.

*boOm*

A big dusty cloud appeared further down the path, making it hard to see what was up ahead and the fuzzy air made Ash cough."What was that?!" Bonnie asked, shielding her face from whatever impact it was. Ash turned to Serena in concered, thankfully she was fine. He let a sigh excape he didn't even know he had, thought it was hard to with dust still in the air, nostrils being clouded by dirt.

Up ahead Ash saw a unconscious (or what he thought was unconscious) silhouette. When the dust clearned, he could see a boy, not much older than Bonnie, laying on the floor coughing. He was holding onto something with yellow fur and something next to him, (the side Ash couldn't see), both leaning against a tree. A Riolu stood guard, a hand out growling at something that was further in the distance.

Apparently the beedrill population in the area weren't very pleased with the boy and started attacking them.

Serena and Bonnie both shot a look at each other while Ash and Pikachu got ready to battle the wasp like pokemon. Clemont (being the smart one here) went over to the boy helping him out. "Come on out Braixan!" Serena called out. While Bonnie ran over to help Clemont out, Ash called out to Pikachu. "Use Thunderbolt quick!" "Braixan use Hidden power!" The fox like pokemon held a pulse like sphere and targeted the beedrill.

After that the pokemon swarmed off, not in the mood to fight it seemed.

Ash and Serena both look at the boy on the ground. Bonnie and Clemont haven't said anything, and by their expressions something must of shocked them. The boys Riolu pads over to the boy and seems to be 'standing guard'.

"Big brother, is that a Clebebi?" Bonnie's voice echoed in the yonder. The silence seemed to last forever till the boy stirred.

Rubbing his eyes he looks at the group, and then at his pokemon. "Pichu are you okay?" He yawned.
The Pichu squicked a faint pichu pi indicating it's fine.

"Is Clebebi okay?" He asked Clemont, who was holding the fainted onion pokemon. "Er... it'll be fine, I think it's best to set camp here and have everyone....rest" Ash knew the rest part also ment to get answers about the boy. Who would leave a mere child out alone?

After setting camp (the strange boy resting in both Ash and Clemont's tent) Bonnie tried to feed the Riolu, as it was the only pokemon that was unharmed. But the pokemon discurouged eating till its friend was awake. Serena and Clemont were making dinner, while Ash stated at the tent the boy was staying in.

It started stirring and the boy came out, stretching. He looked at the boy. He hadn't gotten a good look at his appearance till now, he had raven black hair, very similar to his own, blue ocean eyes and wore a blue -- yellow pokeball shirt and grey shorts.

"Ah! Your up already!" Serena's voice could be heard from behind Ash. It was sweet and sincere, just like it always is, (not saying Ash has been noticing this or anything *cough* ) the boy nodded and went over to sit next to Ash.

"So can you tell us your name?" Ash thought that was appropriate as he didn't like calling the boy, well boy.
"Seath" he answered quickly, playing with his hands, though he seem to have his attention on both Ash and Serena.
"Where are you from?" Serena had came over, and sat down across from Seath and Ash.
"I guess you'd say I'm from Kalos, but I travel with my sister and her friends" he answered.
"And where are they now?" Ash asked, trying to sound calm and reassuring.
"I-i don't know." He stuttered. Well then, that's going to be a problem.

Before they could ask the boy any more, Clemont called out that the food was ready. Bonnie, who was failing at trying to feed the Riolu, gave up and walked over to get herself some food. Clemont brought Ash and Serena's plate while Bonnie brought her own and Seath's.
Ash passed the plate over to Seath and tried to look reassuring.

"Thank you daddy"

Ash spit out his food before he could swallow.
