Amelia Hades was doing the one thing she never thought she would be doing. Her life plans should have kept her well away from this part of Santo Padre, California but life has a funny way of changing things up when you least expect it. Like going into hiding with her 2 year old daughter or turning up unannounced to a MC seeking protection and shelter after years of disconnect.
Now driving through the streets she once knew, Amelia's mind was swirling with 100 different ways about how the hell to approach this situation - does she pull the old 'hi it's me, sorry I haven't been in touch but Mila and I need a safe place to hide' or does she break down into tears and beg and plead for salvation?

Amelia yawned as she pulled up to the Yard, she had only been there once before but by the collection of Bikes that lined the parking spaces aswell as the empty spaces near by, This was definitely the right place to find the one person she had been searching for.

Amelia looked back into the rear view mirror at the sleeping child in the back seat before climbing out of her Jeep that her father had bought her almost 4 years ago, Amelia felt the heat of the city surrounding her body. Santo Padre was damn near the desert and Amelia hated the heat. She reached back into the car, taking her sweatshirt off and throwing it on the passenger seat before adjusting her tight singlet and began to unbuckle the sleeping child in the child's car seat. She took a deep breath to ground her nerves as she heard her footsteps on the gravel behind her.

With her daughter now sleeping comfortably against her chest Amelia turned face to face with a man who had once been her families greatest alliance.

"Hola Amelia" Bishop smiled as his eyes raked the frame and the child against her chest. His arms wrapped around her tightly as if her life depended on being safe against him.

"Bish.." Amelia whispered. Distance between her own family and Bishop had grown rather long over the years but now being back in his arms felt like no time had passed at all.

"Who the hell is that?" Coco asked Taz as he reached back to touch the hand gun tucked in his belt under his vest. Visitors to the yard generally meant trouble and just because this was a women with a child didn't mean she wasn't here to cause trouble, "prostituta?"

"Goddaughter.." Taz replied making his way over to her, "Little Amelia Hades.. Didn't expect to see you around here.."

"Hi Taz.." Amelia smiled, giving him a quick hug before moving back to look at Bishop, "I didn't expect to be here either."

"Templo?" Taz asked Bishop, concern evident on Bishop's face by the lines growing on his forehead as his eyes racked over the small child sleeping soundly against her chest

"Now.." Bishop replied turning on his heels with Taz and Amelia close behind him.

Amelia sat in Templo. A place she swore she would never be. She had seen what had become of her father while he was involved with the Oakland Chapter and after his death she had promised herself she would stay as far from the MC as possible. But Bishop was her Godfather, he was el presidente of the Santa Padre chapter and right now, he was possibly the only one who could really help her.

"I'm sorry.." Amelia started slowly rocking Mila in her arms, her voice shaking as she sat next to him. Bishop reached his hand out across the table to hold her hand, "I didn't mean to barge in.."

"You are always welcome here Mijo" Bishop replied, "and whose this little one?"

Amelia took a deep breath. There was so much going on in Amelia's life yet somehow she had found herself unable to think of where to start. "I really don't know where to begin.."

"The beginning is a good place to start" Taz smiled sweetly, changing his demeanour for Bishop's own goddaughter.  Like Bishop, Taz had watched over Amelia until she went off their radar a few years back.

"I'm in abit of trouble.. I got in with the wrong sort of people and now I'm struggling to get away" Amelia corrected herself , "we..we're struggling to get away"

"Who?" Bishop asked, his tone much harsher now.

"Oakland police department.."

"Explain!" Bishop snapped, removing his hand from hers to rest against his face in defeat. Other MC's dealt bad business, but Police departments could be even worse. They were always intent on bringing MC's down and anything they were involved in was going to cause a war.

"After dad di.. I started hanging out at this bar downtown and I met Craig- he's a police officer and he's been quite.."

"He hurt you?" Taz asked, searching her face for more information than he thought she would give him.

Amelia couldn't make eye contact with either of them. She was afraid to see just how disappointed they were that not only had she gone against the MC she had been brought up with but she had gone off with law enforcement.

"Only once.." Amelia confessed, tears threatening to spill from her eyes, "I'm scared for Mila.."

"His daughter?" Bishop replied, moving from his seat to hold Amelia in his arms as she cried. "Taz, call a Templo now"
