Today is my first day at school, I finally get to leave the house! At first I thought summer was going to be so fun with my dolls and my toys but it got real boring real fast, there's not even any beaches in Ohio! Mommy got a job at my new school, she's a lunch lady, which means I can see her everyday so I don't have to feel lonely.

Mommy left me at the school gates to make me feel grown up. I didn't, I felt sick. A nice lady took my hand and asked my name, she told me that it's a very pretty name which I know and then took me to my classroom. My new teacher was called Miss Deniz. Everyone was put into pairs, I was paired with a girl called Santana. She was very pretty but she didn't really talk much, she looked like she hated everyone around her. And then I realised, she's one of the kids from Lima Heights Adjacent, one of the kids I was told to stay away from.
'Hey! I can't be your partner!' I snapped at her, to my surprise, she looked at me and smiled and said 'Sure you can be, I've seen you before, I think we're going to be best friends'.

At recess I played with Santana, I wanted to pretend that we were dinosaurs and everyone one else were cavemen, she told me that idea sucks and kissing tag was way better. I've never played kissing tag but I played it anyway, the point of the game is to chase people and kiss them, if you get kissed then you join the kissing team and have to kiss the unkissed, the last person who hasn't been kissed has to kiss one of the kissers to win. Santana was it first, I ran and hid under the slide to watch what was going down. Santana ran after a boy with a mohaw, I think he's called Noah, she got him so they both joined teams. The game lasted a while until I realised I was the only one who hadn't been kissed, I ran out of my hiding spot and ran towards Santana, I grabbed her face and kissed her. She pulled her body away from me and gave me a disgusted look, 'Ew Brittany just kissed me!' She yelled. Suddenly the whole class was looking at me, boys started yelling at me and the girls started pretending to vomit. This was not how my first day was supposed to go. I burst into tears and flew through the doors into my classroom. Miss Deniz looked up from her desk and said 'Oh no Brittany what's wrong? Do you have a boo boo', I told her that my heart had a boo boo because everyone was laughing at me, 'I'll go get your partner, you two can sit in here by yourselves'. That was the last thing I wanted, Santana had just embarrassed me in front of my whole class, and now I was being forced to sit with her. I wish I was back in Florida, I had friends there and now everyone hated me.
