shefali tries to push vikas from her room , lying that he's hurting her emotions. The desperation with which he holds her and the look in Sid's eyes when he enters the operating room betray the truth —shefali is infected.
She admits for just one moment that she's scared, then does what she needs to do. She tells Sid to take vikas from the room, though he whispers that he has no intention of letting go or leaving her alone.
