The whole bookstore went silent, even Hanji's fangirl screams and giggles subsided. Outside seem to become mute, as if waiting and watching for something to happen in the little bookstore.

"Welcome to the Shiganshina Bookstore. Please, ask this cute little blonde if you need anything," Marco said as he patted Armin's head and ran over somewhere.

"Umm...thanks?" the boy said perplexed.

"Oh god, my crush...is in my bookstore!" Armin thought panicked.

Café boy looked around the front of the bookstore for a little, till he stopped at Armin's personal collection of Ren Ackerman books. "Here too," he muttered. "Of course, she is really popular after all," Armin said with a shrug.

"What's your name?" Café boy asked. The blonde blushed a little, "A-Armin A-Arlert," he stuttered. "Armin Arlert," café boy muttered as he tested the name on his lips. Armin shivered at the sons of his name rolling off his crush's lips.

"Nice to meet you, Armin, my name is Eren Yeager," café boy said with a smile. Armin blushed, "N-nice to meet you too," he said with a small smile.

The two heard a fit of giggling and they turned their heads towards the source, to see Hanji, Ymir, and Marco watching them. "Friends of your's?" Eren asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah, they're nuts, but they always has my back," Armin said shyly.

"A buddy is a buddy, no matter how nutty," Eren muttered. Armin and Hanji froze at the quote.

"Book four of Ren Ackerman's Lovely Childhood series, chapter nineteen, page one hundred eighty three, paragraph four, spoken by Haru Sendou," they thought at the same time.

Eren raised an eyebrow at Armin questioningly. "You okay?" he asked perplexed. "Y-yeah, you just quoted one of Ren Ackerman's books," Armin said stunned. Eren frowned, "Really? I didn't notice," he said.

"How could you not notice! You just quoted one of the great Ren Ackerman's works of art!" yelled Hanji. Eren shrugged, "I just didn't, okay?" he replied nonchalant. "You must be a reader of the great Ren Ackerman! How else could you know that quote!?" Hanji yelled.

Eren shrugged, "Maybe because I'm just that good," he joked. "Nope! You would have to be a Ren Ackerman fan or Ren Ackerman herself to know it!" Hanji argued. "Witch I am nether," Eren replied smoothly. "Then what are you?" Hanji pressed. "A human is what I am. Not a mouse nor a bee. I am me, you are you. Everyone is happy. The end," Eren replied.

Again, Armin and Hanji froze at what the brunette said. "Book five of Ren Ackerman's World of Roses series, chapter twenty five, page three hundred eighty nine, paragraph five, spoken by Ren Ackerman herself," they thought at once.

Eren, Marco, and Ymir sweat dropped.

"You did it again!" Hanji yelled as she pointed at Eren accusingly. "This proves noting," Eren stated. "It proves that you ARE a fan of the great Ren Ackerman!" Hanji cried. Eren sighed, "My sister reads them," he confessed.

Before anyone could blink, Hanji jumped Eren. "What's her favorite book!? Favorite chapter!? Favorite Paragraph!? Favorite character!? Favorite Series!? Tell meeeeeeeeeee! I muuuuuuuust knoooow!" Hanji yelled. "Can someone get her off of me!? Please!?" Eren yelled.

Marco and Ymir jumped into action and tried to pull Hanji off of the brunette. But, alas, it was fruitless. Armin sighed and pulled out a book and whistled. Instantly, Atmin had Habji's full attention. "Hanji, look what I got," he said.

"Science of Love, book two, Chemical Reactions! Give me!" Hanji yelled as she jumped at Armin. "Marco, door!" the blonde ordered. Knowing the drill, Marco ran to the front door and opened it.

"Fetch!" Armin yelled as he tossed the book outside. Hanji made a beeline towards the door and jumped at the book. "Close it!" Armin ordered. Once Hanji was outside, Matco slammed the door shut.

Armin, Matco, and Ymir sighed in relief. "Thank god. Quick thinking there, Armin," Marco said. Armin nodded, "Thanks," he said.

"Is she always like that?" Eren asked as he stood up. "Pretty much," the three said in unison. The brunette sweat dropped. "Well, that's what I call devoted fan," he muttered. "You have no idea," the three said in unison. Eren laughed, "Wait, but Armin, aren't you a fan of her's as well?" he asked.

The blonde blushed and looked down at his book. "Y-yeah," he muttered shyly. Eren smiled, "I'm glad you're not going nuts and asking my sister's favorites," he said. "W-well, I am curious, but I don't go nuts like Hanji," Armin confessed shyly.

Eren laughed again as his phone started to ring. The brunette whipped his phone out and checked the caller idea, and groaned. "Do you have a secluded area for me to answer this?" he asked.

Armin nodded, "Yeah, in the back," he said. "Thanks," Eren said gratefully as he hurried into the back.

"Soooooooooo...are you going to make your move?" Marco asked. Armin blushed again, "I-I don't know," he muttered. "Come on, man, you got to. God is serving you a chance on a sliver platter. Take it," Marco argued. "He's right, Armin, grow a pair and attack," Ymir agreed.

"You two are ganging up on me! Why!?" Armin cried. "You have a right to be happy, Armin. Plus, you haven't had a date in like three years," Marco reasoned. Armin sighed, "Thanks, you guys, I'll try and confess," he said. "That's all we're asking, buddy," Marco said.

Just then, Eren came back, losing rather stressed. "What's wrong?" Armin asked concerned. "Oh, nothing, I got to go. Is it okay to go out there with that girl going nuts?" Eren asked. "Hanji? She's probably be focused on her book," Ymir said.

Eren laughed nervously, "Well, I'll get going now," he said as he moved towards the door. Before he headed out the door, he stopped. "Before I forget," he said as he backed up. The three friends watched curiously as the brunette dug into his bag. Eren found what he was looking for and pulled out a pen and a notepad.

"Here, call me sometime," Eren said as he gave Armin his phone number. The blonde blushed brightly and nodded. "Well, see ya, later. Hopefully," Eren said as he walked out of the door.

The bookstore was silent once again. "Well, I guess you didn't have to make a move. He made one for you," Marco said. Armin nodded dumbly, "Yeah," he said as he gripped the little slip of paper.

Ymir laughed, "The universe works in mysterious ways," she commented. Marco laughed, "She has a point there," he agreed. Armin laughed nervously and typed in Eren's number into his phone. As he was typing it in, something caught his eye in the little slip of paper.

"I got his address as well," Armin said. "Seriously!? Woe, he must have the hots for you too," Ymir said. Armin blushed, "R-really?" he said embarrassed. The two laughed at their friend's reaction.

"Congratulations, Armin," Hanji said as she reentered the store. "Thanks," Armin said sheepishly. "Now we can go to date night, without any annoying problems coming up," Hanji said happily. "You need to find a date, remember?" Ymir pointed out.

"Crap, you're right!" Hanji exclaimed. The group of friends laughed in unison. "Everyone, back to work!" Armin exclaimed. "Sir! Yes! Sir!" they cried as they ran into the back.

Armin looked back down at his phone and smiled. "Eren Yeager, I'm happy I finally got to meet you," he said softly with a small blush.
