JungShin Group

A group of man were standing in front of the building nervously, waiting for the heir of Jungshin Group to come. There would be a meeting with the board of the directors in 15 minutes. Some of them started to worry as they thought the heir couldn't made it today.

"What if she refuses to become the president?" A man with a thick eyebrows asked.

"I believe she'll come today. Even if it's late, she must be the the president or all of us will be doomed," the older man replied while taking a deep breath.

Deep in his heart, he was also nervous about that. A lot of thoughts coming into his mind. He prayed hardly that the only heir of Jungshin Group would come eventually. No matter what, that person must be president to fulfill the late president's will.

"Oh, she's here," said a man, making all of them turned to see a black sedan car making its way to the entrance of the building. As soon as it stopped, they saw a woman wearing a baby pink knee-length dress came out of the black sedan car. She walked out elegantly while taking off her sunglasses.

"Welcome to the Jungshin Group, Miss Jang. The meeting will start in 10 minutes. Let's us escort you to the meeting room," the old man greeted the woman politely.

"I'm sorry for coming late, Mr Yoo. My flight was postponed yesterday and I just arrived this morning," Hyeyoon said as they walked together to the meeting room.

"It's okay Miss Jang. I'm glad you can make it today. Please do well during the meeting," Mr Yoo looked at her with a worried face.

"No worries Mr Yoo. I believe I can do this!" Said her confidently while making a fist with her tiny hands. Mr Yoo smiled at her enthusiasm. She might be young, but she's bold and mature enough to be the President of Jungshin Group.

"All of the board of directors are here already, but the heir hasn't even show up. Should we just proceed this meeting?" Mr Jee Seokjin, one of the board of director finally spoke after a moment of silence in the meeting room. They kept exchanging anxious looks among them, hesitated to agree with him. A young man woke up from his seat and went to the front, flashing a smile to everyone in the room.

"As you all can see, my sister can't make it today. She is still busy with her business in Japan and as the only son of Mr Jang Jungshin, I agree  with Mr Jee that we should proceed this meeting without her," he said confidently while taking the seat in front. Some murmurs were heard in the room.

"But this meeting is to decide the new president of Jungshin's Group. We can't proceed without the heir," said a muscular man seated in front of Mr Jee. The young man smiled cynically.

"Then why do you think I'm here, Mr Kim? Obviously my sister already rejected the position which makes me the next candidate in line," he replied.

"Alright then, we shall proceed the meeting," Mr Kim Jongkook finally agreed. The young man rose from his seat and started his speech.

"Hello and good morning. As all of you know, we hold this meeting to decide the new president of Jubgshin Group as my father, President Jang is currently unavailable to perform his duty due to his health condition. It's so hard for me to even think about taking his position, but as a son and a worker in this company, I cannot let Jungshin Group being operated without a leader. Many problems already occur since my father fall sick a few weeks ago and we need someone to lead us to solve those problems," he paused for a second, observing each faces in the room.

"Therefore today, I, Lee Soohyuk, son of President Jang, nominate myself as a candidate of the-" his speech was interrupted when someone suddenly entered the room.

"Oh, Miss Jang is here?!" Everyone in the room was very shocked especially Soohyuk who was staring at her step sister without a blink.

Hyeyoon arrived at the room with Mr Yoo Jaesuk and a few department managers. She give a bow to everyone in the room and greeted them. "Anyyeonghaseyo, I'm Jang Hyeyoon. I apologize for coming late today," she said, trying to hide her nervousness. She looked at those puzzled faces and smiled. "Seems like you guys have started the meeting without me. I wonder if you have a new president already," she walked to the middle and stared at Soohyuk. "Long time no see, oppa."

"Congratulations Miss Jang for being appointed as the new President of Jungshin group. We're so glad to be working under you," Mrs Song praised her after the meeting ended.

Hyeyoon smiled brightly. She was grateful there were still many people who supported her and willing to work under her even though she was years younger than them. "Don't say like that Mrs Song. We're in this together, nobody is above or under someone else. I'm still young in this sector, I hope we can get along well," she replied humbly. Mrs Song Jihyo patted the back of her hand and smiled. "Don't worry, you're going to be fine, young president. We have your back," she said before going out from the room.

Hyeyoon made her way out of the meeting room and decided to go home as she hadn't met her father since she arrived in Korea this morning. She already visited her father as soon she heard her father collapsed due to a major stroke a few weeks ago and last week she had to returned to Japan as she needed to settle some works at her company there. HyeRa's Valet, a fashion empire that she built three years ago was hitting the top in Japan. Her company was a success as Korean fashion was really popular in that country. As she was now the President of Jungshin Group, she had to leave HyeRa's Valet with her business partner aka her best friend, Kim Bora. That girl had been with her through ups and downs of their company.

She walked towards the entrance door escorted by Mr Yoo and a few workers. She turned to them before walking into her car that was parked in front of the building. "Thank you for your support for me and I apologize that I have to go now. Please call me if anything happen, Mr Yoo," she said and gave a warm smile. "Alright Miss Jang. Sends my regards to President Jang and have a safe ride, President Jang Hyeyoon," he replied with a smile.

Greetings everyone 😊 This is my first fanfiction about my favourite couple Rohye. I just can't stop thinking about them these days that I end up writing this ff 😂 And also I insert Running Man members  as extras in here because I love them so much that I cannot think about anyone else 😂 Also I'm sorry if I make any grammar mistakes in this story as English is not my first language.
