MY GHOST
I'm here in my room reviewing for our test tomorrow.
But I can't focus on reviewing my notes.
She's here.
Staring at me.
Smiling.
She's always like this. Whatever I do, she's there watching me. Wherever I go, she's walking behind me.
She's not a human.
She's my ghost.
After so many years, I got used to her presence.
She's always wearing her creepy smile. She wears a long white dress, her hair is messy, and she only shows her right eye that's covered with blood.
There's a knife that's sticked to her head.
I can say that she was murdered. I just don't know why she's still not leaving my side or why she's not yet killing me.
I asked her once, but she cried.
It was creepy because her tears were blood. As if her eyes were bleeding.
So I just let her.
Sighing, "Can you please stop staring at me? I'm reviewing, can't you see?"
I heard her sobs, making my heart beats fast.
I looked at her and tried calming her down.
"I-i'm sorry."
"Do you hate me?" For so many years, she finally spoke.
Her voice is a bit chilly.
"No."
"Do you want me out of your life?"
That stopped me for a second.
What if I say yes? Will she leave?
"Y-yes."
In just a blink of an eye, she disappeared.
Did she really left? I looked everywhere, and she's nowhere to be found.
What a relief.
I spent the whole night reviewing and not thinking about her.
I went to school early and saw some of my classmates sleeping in our classroom.
I sat on my chair and was about to get my book when I heard my best friend's voice shouting my name.
"What's up marj?"
I looked at her,
I saw her running towards my direction,
with my ghost on her shoulder.
