Melanie's POV
Hannah and I got off the plane, and into Aunt Steph's car. We were in LA for three weeks with Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky.

I put my suitcase in  the trunk, and sat down in the backseat.

"Hey girls. How was your vacation?" Asked Aunt Steph.

"It was good. Sorry for not calling, we were at the beach most of the time." I said.

"Oh. Well, why don't you try explaining that to your mother and Max."

"Ooh! That'll be HARD, Mel." Said Hannah.

I slapped her arm while smirking. My family was the reason I wanted to come back. We were supposed to stay for two more days.

"It must be weird, that thing not glowing every day." Said Aunt Stephanie.

I looked down at the bracelet I had gotten for Christmas the year before. Every time I was near the person that had the other one, it'd glow. Before dad died, he hid them in the laundry room at the house we live in now. One was mine, and the other was my twin brother, Max's. Quite frankly, I got pretty used to it glowing all the time, because we were always glued to each other's side.

We would have stayed another two days, but... I missed my own bed. And I already mentioned family, and all that touchy-feely stuff.

DJ was very happy that her only daughter was coming back home. But, also scared because she had no idea if LA had changed her. She hadn't gotten any calls whatsoever, and she didn't know what to think. It also kind of scared her twin brother, Max, who hadn't gotten any calls from her either.

Ramona was at the printers, getting a welcome home banner for the party she was throwing. Melanie doesn't like surprises, but that didn't stop her mother.

She gave everybody a task. Ramona was already doing her job. The Gibblers, Jimmy and Kimmy were getting one of their famous Donut walls. They worked well together. Probably because of the fact that they were siblings, and were forced to their entire lives.

Stephanie had drove to the airport to get the girls, so she was doing her job. DJ loved Hannah like her own children. She was like a second daughter.

Max, Jackson and Tommy were decorating. Fernando was getting the cake, and Steve was trying his best to stay away from the party planning chaos.

"Alright, everyone! Is everything here?!" DJ yelled through the house.

"Yes! I got the cake!" Said Fernando.

"Great. Now, put it down before you drop it." Said Ramona, walking through the back door with the banner. She handed it to DJ, and went upstairs to get dressed... better.

"Oh! Guys! Steph just texted me! Their pulling up to the driveway!" Yelled DJ. Everybody ran into the living room, and hid behind the couch.

"Max! Go hide upstairs. She'll be even more surprised." Jackson suggested.

"You people are so much work." Said Max, walking to the stairs.

Melanie's POV
Hannah and I got out of the car, and stood at the front door.

"You ready?" Asked Aunt Steph.

We both nodded, and as soon as I walked in through the door, everyone jumped out from behind the couch.

"Welcome home!" They all screamed, much too loud for my liking. Everyone ran up and hugged us. Hannah was very very happy. Mom pressed a little button, that dropped a banner. It said, "Welcome home Hannah and Melanie!"
