I'm not a writer and this is the first thing I have ever done with writing so it WILL be bad.
Chapter One
I woke to the shattering sound of breaking glass. I jump off my bed and silently walk to bedroom door. I press my ear against it and listen closly. "For the last ime Elizabeth, I don't want that boy in my house!" Dave yelled at my Mom.
"Dave please-" My Mom starts, but Dave cuts her off.
"No Becky, I want him out! I'm sick of him stealing from me!" Dave yelled. I smiled and looked at the cluster of clothes that are concealing the drill I stole from Dave's garage.
"I'm sure it wasn't him." Mom protects me.
"Well I'm sure it is! I want him gone!" He snapped.
"At least wait until the end of the school year, then we can send him to camp and then find a good private school for him to go to." Mom pleads.
"Fine, you have one week to find him a camp, or I'm sending him to boot camp!" And with that Dave stomps upstairs and into his room. I smirk and crawl back into my bed. I hate Dave, and I know my Mom wont send me to camp, nor will she let him ship me off. It's the same threats every time. Get the troubled kid out or send him to boot camp. But my Mom loves me to much. She hates having me away from her, but she also would hate it if Dave kicked us out. We would have no place to go... I took a deep breath and counted to five and then fell asleep.

when I woke up I got dressed and followed the smell of cooking bacon down ot the kitchen. "Goodmorning sweety." Mom smiles. I was about to say it back when a peice of her hair shiffted and I saw the dark, purple mark on her jaw line.
"Mom...?" I asked.
"Yes?" She said. "Did Dave hit you?" I demanded.
"What? No, of course not." She said to quickly.
"Mom if Dave hit you that's not good!" I said remember the sound of breaking glass.
"Mom," I said taking a step towards her.
"Here is your breakfast." She handed me a plate of food and walked out of the kitchen. I glared at the spot she was just standing in and then scarfed down my breakfast. I had time to have one more plateful of food and then I went to school.
At school I saw all my friends mobbing around the Cheer Squad. "Hey there's our man!" Levi grinned at me.
"Hey man." I grinned back.
"Nate!" A girl squealed. I sighed.
"Hey Nora." I smiled politely.
"I missed you this weekend, where were you?" She asks, draping her arm around my waist.
"I was building a bar for Dave's garage." I said putting my arm around her shoulers.
"And does that keep you from picking up your phone?" She demands with a pouty mouth.
"You know your hard not to kiss when you do that with your lips." I said. She beamed, for getting that I forgot to answer her question. I walked to homeroom with my hockey team and the cheer squad, and then we went to out actuall classes. I went through the whole day wondering when I was ever going to be free from all this pain.
I had been so out of it that when Nora had hugged my waist during our lunch period I actually pulled away from her. Nora pouted, "Why are you ignoring me?" She demands. I sigh, I don't want to do this right now.
