Twitter: Thursday Thoughts "An Escape To Normal!"
I had a moment of "normal" this morning!
I played with my #dog, Ginger, in the backyard.
I watered my roses and #enjoyed the fresh breeze.
I had a cup of hot mocha on my patio.
What was your "Normal" today?
A Poem: "An Escape To Normal!"
The golden sun peeked through my curtains this glorious morning to call me from my slumber.
Ginger, my dog jumping, dancing, and barking at me.
She wanted to be free. We needed to be free!
I fumbled and jumble to the backdoor, a morning call I could not ignore.
The smell of the garden pine trees and purplish lavender floated across my yard to greet me.
A bright blue sky opening to the heavens, I took a moment to breathe in the world.
I felt the dew of the green grass between my toes and sat for a moment to pray.
I watered my trees, roses, Ginger, and me.
I had escaped to a moment of normal, a chance to be me.
