If I had one wish,
People wouldn't be cutting lines.
Kids wouldn't be killing themselves,
Barely even nine.
If I had one wish,
People wouldn't be dying.
People would be helping,
Not just pressing record.
If I had one wish,
People would use their hands to greet,
Not hurt all they meet.
This world is full of hate
And if I had just one wish,
We would change that.
Then I wouldn't have to say
This world is full of hate
As a fact
One of my favorites. I don't really know what inspired this. I came home one day from a day of bullying and wrote this down. This poem has earned me a few moments on stage at my school including on suicide awareness day
