This is my first day in a new school of Sophomore Year in Minnesota State High School (MSHS). My name is Naveah Ramirez, I'm 16 years old. I was born and grew up in Bronx, New York. I have a boyfriend named Luis, and we been together for a year and a half now, I don't love him because I don't know what love is and he respects that. My parents had a divorce when I was 3 years old so I have been living with my mom for the past 13 years, but I still kept in touch with my dad, even though I can't forgive him for what he has done to me and my family. I am Dominican and Cuban. I have long, curly dark brown hair that passes my elbows. My light Hispanic skin color and I have braces, with the color black. I have hazel - green colored eyes and I love wearing mascara with it to pop my color of my eyes out more. I have a older sister that's 18 years old, her name is Savannah but I call her Nana. My mom was a teenager when she was pregnant with Savannah and that's what lead to the problems with my mom and dad. So my mom wanted me to promise her to not make her mistake. I had to promise her a million times that I would not follow her footsteps. She wants me to finish school, get a car, my own house, THEN I could focus on marriage and kids. Welp, here's my day.

"NEVVIE WAKE UP ITS YOUR FIRST DAY IN YOUR NEW SCHOOL AND YOU CANT BE LATE!!" My mom yells from the kitchen. (This day can't just start this way)
I hear her but I'm just not ready for this school day. I'm already upset that I left all my friends in New York to come to this crappy school.
"Que mami? I'm awake! Damn, chill." I get out of bed and grab toiletry bag and head to the shower.
After the shower, I pick out my outfit which is a camo beanie, pair of joggers, a vest and a white t-shirt and white pair of Jordan sneakers. I put some gel in my hair to make the curls pop up more and put some mascara and put some lotion and perfume on, now I'm ready. So I head downstairs and smell some bacon, eggs and toast.
"Mmm mami , the food smells sooo freakin' gooood. Puedo tener un plato? (Can I have a plate?) I say to my mom, while she's spreading butter on the toast.
"Of course baby...here" she says while she passes the plate to me.
While I'm eating I check the time and it's 6:30 am and my bus is going to be here any minute. So I say bye to my mother, kiss her on the cheek and run to my bus stop. I stand in the cold for 5-10 minutes and I finally see my bus.

AND THE DAY BEGINS....
