Michael's P.O.V.
I sat on the ground in a corner of my room, wiping my face ferociously with my hoodie sleeves. My shaking was slowly going away, and my heart rate was going back to normal. I tried to breathe using the counting that Jeremy taught me. It had been about forty-five minutes since I left Christine's, and my phone hadn't stopped going off almost the whole time since I got home.
I can't believe I did that!!! How could I be so stupid?! He's going to hate me now! And in front of everyone like that?! He could never lo- LIKE me! I'm just an idiot.
One of my moms called to me, "Michael, dinner's ready!"
"Dang it," I whispered to myself, then called to my moms, "I'm not hungry!"
"You didn't eat last night either, though?" She asked, her voice laced with worry.
"I ate a lot over at Christine's!" I felt bad for lying to her, but if she knew how long I had gone without eating, she would never let me skip a meal again.
"Alright, well, there'll be leftovers in the fridge if you change your mind!"
"Thanks!"
I'm too fat to eat anything...
I slipped into the bathroom and locked the door. I dug around the drawer until I found what I was looking for. I picked up the small silver object and dragged it across my skin until blood started to appear. I did that a couple more times before I heard my mom coming up the stairs. I quickly hid the razor and cleaned my arms up a little. I pulled my sleeves down and slipped out of the bathroom just as someone knocked on the door.
"What's up mo- oh...." My heart sped up "H-hey, J-Jeremy..."
