I walked into my parents' apartment building with a suitcase and backpack. I was staying with them for Christmas. I walked threw the lobby and got onto the elevator. I went to my parents' apartment and knocked. My mom opened it and hugged me.

"Ah! You act like I didn't see you like a week ago," I smiled.

"I know! It's just weird not having you around constantly," She smiled.

"I'm sure it is," I smiled. We went inside and I went to my old room. I smiled and put my stuff down. We sat on the couch talking when I got a text.

"Hey, random question. When are you free?" A text from Miro read.

"Well, I don't have anything to do tomorrow."

"Alright, do you wanna go for a date..?" He asked.

"I'd love to! When would you wanna go out?" I asked excited.

"Would eleven work for lunch?" He responded.

"Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow!" I replied with a smile on my face.

"Ok, see ya!" He responded. I smiled to myself. My mom looked at me with an eyebrow raised.

     "What?" I asked.

"What's that smile for?" She smirked.

"I normally smile..," I said blushing.

"I know. That smile's a little wider than normal," She said.

     "I... Just got a date," I responded.

     "With who?" She smiled.

     "Miro..," I blushed.

"Get that money, girl!" My older brother said, looking up from his phone. He laughed.

"Hey! That's not why!" I said.

     "Sure," He shook his head.

"Seriously! He's a sweet guy!" I said with a small smile. There were so many things about him but I couldn't list them all. He's just a gift from God.

"Alright," He chuckled. I can't wait for tomorrow!
