Chapter 4

Next morning, 5 a.m.

Deepika woke up feeling fresh. She turned to her side to see her hubby missing. She got worried. He never woke up this early. She got out of bed and went to the kitchen, his first destination after brushing. She saw him toasting a bread and she sighed.

Deepika ran to him and hugged him from behind. "You scared me you know," she said. He moved her arms away and continued what he was doing. "Come one yaar baby, stop this childishness," she whined. But he still did not reply. He was now spreading nuttela on the bread. (I know some don't toast it and eat it with nutella, I just needed to write it there cause his favourite is nutella)

Deepika turned him around and held his face. "Baby, it was just a joke," she said. She kissed his cheek. He finally looked at her. She was about to lean in to kiss him but just then, her phone rang. She groaned and picked it up. "Hello?" she said. "Just to remind you Deepika, you have a meeting with Faridoon at 10," her manager said. "Yes,i know," Deepika said and cut the call. She turned to her hubby but he was not there.

She looked at the dining table and he was there eating his bread. She sat beside him. "Talk to me na," she pleaded. He continued eating. He finished his bread and just sat there for a little longer. Deepika brought her lips to his ear and sucked his earlobe. "Talk to me," she whispered. He stood up and washed his plate. "Baby!" she whined. He went back to their bedroom. She groaned and went back to their bedroom.

He lied down and went back to sleep. She lied down beside him and hugged him. She kissed his naked chest. "Jaanu, talk to me na," she pleaded. "What?" he finally said. "Finally you said something," she sighed. He was actually struggling to not wrap his arms around her. She wrapped her arms around his torso. "I am sorry for pranking you," Deepika said. "Baby, it's ok if you prank me. Just don't do a prank that makes me cry," he said.

She nodded and smiled at him. He pulled her in for a kiss. "I love you," she said. "I love you too meri jaan,"
