Chapter 12

July 2021....

"Jaan! Are you free today?" Deepika asked while doing her light makeup. "Yes," Ranveer replied. "Ok, the nanny won't be coming today. So can you take care of Ahana?" she asked.

"Baby, you don't have to ask me these kind of things. Ahana is our baby. I will be more than happy to have some father daughter time," Ranveer said and Deepika smiled.

She went to him and pecked his lips. "I need to leave for shoot now," she said. "I love you," he said. And she said the same. Deepika kissed Shana's forehead and left.

Ahana was the cutest little thing ever. She was already four months old. Ranveer had her on their bed and was playing the baby toys.

A few hours later....

Deepika was exhausted. She went back to the bedroom and saw rewarded by a wonderful sight.

"So then, the monster said. I will eat you. But then, princess Ahana took out a magic wand and made the monster into a frog," Ranveer telling their daughter a story.

Ahana didn't understand a thing. But the way her daddy was making his expressions and his hands were moving, she was having a lot of fun.

Deepika smiled at that. She kissed her baby's forehead. She carried her in her arms. "So papa was telling you a story?" she cooed.

Ahana stretched her arms out and giggled. That cute baby laugh. Ranveer smiled at that. Deepika gave her daughter another few kisses.

She put Ahana back in her crib. "Hey!  Where are my kisses?" Ranveer asked with a pout. Deepika laughed.

"Oops, looks like I forgot my big baby over here," she chuckled. Deepika pulled him in for a kiss. When he pulled out, he looked in her eyes. She was exhausted. "Go take a shower and sleep, you have been working alot. And while you sleep, I will give you my Oscar winning massage," Ranveer said.

She took a shower and lied down on the bed. Ranveer massaged her and she peacefully slept in his arms...
