It's Christmas here already :D 01:25 am and I am not feeling the Christmas spirit XD So me and my buddies are on Skype, waiting for 'Santa' to arrive and so I thought I might get busy writing something special for you lot before I lose the capacity to think.
I placed the final red ball-ball on the Christmas tree and stepped back to look it over. It looked god awful, but me and Marshall made it together, and so it was staying as it is. I smiled at Marshall who had stepped back to look it over.
"My side looks soo bad compared to yours." He laughed "Want to trash mine so you can do it yourself?"
I shook my head moving over to him, "It looks great, and you did it. It shows how we both are and so it shows how we're together."
The presents were lined up in neat rows under the tree. Half were shiny greens, purples, oranges and gold. The other half were mat black with edges everywhere showing the white underneath. It was our first Christmas together, and I was loving it. All the presents were for us, Fi and Cake. No-one else in the kingdom had tried to be that close to us, and so we were still our small group of four. I have to go to a ceremony in the ball room to present the town Christmas tree to everyone. We were lighting it when the clock struck midnight. Christmas Eve was going to be a ball, literally.

Basically, I'm bad at Christmas. I never used to celebrate it as a child since my mum didn't really care for it. However, this year me and Gumball are spending it together, so I tried to put as much effort in as possible. I wrapped presents, I attempted to decorate the tree, and I did all the festive rubbish. Gumball seemed content with it all, and what I want to do is make him happy. He gave me the stupid Christmas jumper, but it was black. I was really happy that he actually thought about what I'd want to wear, and he got a pink one obviously.
It was time to go to the 'Christmas ball' in the town hall and we walked there together. He made a few nervous jokes and played about a bit.
"Gumball, it'll be okay." I said to him as we stopped outside the doors.
"What?" He asked.
"I know you're nervous, so don't be. It'll be okay, and you'll be loved as always."
"You're the best. You know exactly what I'm thinking" He smiled at me.
He took a deep breath and we entered the hall. People were rushing everywhere and there was Christmas music playing. I nodded to Gumball and we split up, him going toward the stage and me heading to the back of the crowd.
He stood at the stage front smiling and taking deep breaths. He waited a minute before starting.
"Everyone, welcome and Merry Christmas. I hope you're all enjoying the party, because the festive times are the best of times" He said it shakily and anxious.
I wanted to face-palm at the week joke/rhyme. He shook it off and moved on.
"So we're all here for the tree lighting. This Christmas will be different for all of us, there's been changes in everyone's lives and it's going to be new and exciting. I hope that we can all live in peace here, because there isn't a reason to fight each other. I hope you all have a fortunate and happy time with your loved ones as I know I will. Now, the lights." He stepped to the button and pushed it, the lights flicked on and the glowing spirit filled the room.
*********************
I walked calmly off the stage and then almost ran to Marshall, he hugged me.
"Well done, it was really good after the bad rhyme." He laughed.
We got back to my room and he darted to the Christmas tree, and he said "Can I open one now?"
I shook my head, jumping onto the bed and snuggling into the covers. Marshall slid in silently beside me and held my hand under the covers.
"I love you, more than words could say." He whispered, closing his eyes.
***************************
As soon as I could feel the slight heat of the sun outside I was up and jumping on the bed. Gumball rolled over and glared at me, but I pulled a puppy dog face until he started laughing.
I bounced off and sat in front of the tree hopeful, and Gumball finally nodded. I grabbed my gold box and ripped the paper off. It was small and in a tiny box, inside of it was a small glass jar. There was a tiny white ghost like figure swooshing about in it.
"What's this?" I asked fascinated.
"Since I can't really give you my soul, I'm using it of course, I gave you one just like any other. You still have mine, but not physically right now." He said sitting beside me on the floor.
I held it silently for a minute, and then said "Now my present will be rubbish"
Gumball picked up one of the black presents and carefully pulled off the paper, inside was a lyric sheet. He looked at me and smiled, "Can you sing it to me?"
I nodded.
I drew a blank here but I hope you enjoyed the Christmas special. The end of a story is never really an end for me, so I always come back to add more somehow. Have a fantastic Christmas and I hope to see you all before New Years. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
