Chapter 10: Welcome Home!

Richie's POV
I forgot that my parents are coming home today!

"Hey Stan, I'm sorry but I've got to go!"

I hopped onto my bike and looked at him with a smirk.

"...see your mom" I winked and started my way back to my place

"See you later Trashmouth!!!!!" I heard Stan yell from behind me.

I smile then pedal faster since my parents want me to be home when they got there.

I finally pull into the driveway and drop my bike and run inside sitting in the living room until they return home.

It didn't take them that long to arrive.

"We're home Richard!!" I heard my mom  call from the front door.

"Ello mom! Ello dad!" I yell back.

I heard both of them chuckle at the accent I made, I smirk with pride.

Stan's POV

I watch as Richie tries to quickly make his way home, and smile.

I go back to the bench I was at and look at birds again. Until I heard a soft cough from in front of me. I lower my binoculars and take a look at the person responsible for disturbing me.

Bill?

"Uh...hi Stan" he sadly smirks.

I looked at him with confusion, since when does Bill speak to me? Or anyone for that matter?! My mind starts racing with millions of questions until another cough breaks me from my trance.

"Oh, uh... hi" I say awkwardly fixing my shirt collar.

Bill nods and shoves his hands in his pockets.

There was complete silence with only a few chirps from birds could be heard.

After awhile I decided to try and break the awkward silence.

"So what are you doing here?" I ask politely.

Bill thinks for a moment then shrugs.

"Wanted out?" Was all he said he then waved at me and walked away.

"That was...unexpected" I whisper to myself. I shrug and decide it was about time to head home.

My walk was quite boring so I thought of Richie with his bad sense of fashion and horrible mom jokes, not to mention his accents! I smile thinking of him and start quietly laughing, I shook my head quickly, what am I thinking?!?!

I'm not gay.
