What a twist.

I shakily got to my feet, wobbling as I wasn't used to standing like a human in so long. I looked over at Saphira, her skin was a darker white with chestnut hair.

"Arth. What's going on?" Saphira cried out, stumbling like a baby with its first steps. I shakingly walk over to her and catch her as she falls forward. I was still in my same clothes as when I first "died".

"Relax. I am processing this myself." She slowly holds her weight on shaking legs. She looked over at the dead body of the assassin.

"Who is that?" I look down at the skeleton, covered in his dirty clothes.

"Here." I pulled the skeleton up and pulled the cloths off. "Wear these." I shake the dust off them. She takes a step back.

"I don't deal with the dead like that. It's dishonorable." I sigh and shake my head.

"This bastered is the assassin that attacked me. Gave me that stab wound." Her face changed.

"I feel like there is a whole half of the story you didn't tell me." She eyed me grabbing the cloak and others clothing accessories.

"I will explain when we get to my cabin, hopefully it is there still." I sigh as she unsuccessfully puts the pants on. I sigh and help her slip them on.

The trees made a perfect circle around my deaf spot, nothing grew on where my body lied. A chill went through my body as frost covered the area.

Walking over, I rummaged around till I found what I was looking for with an "ah ha." It was my desert eagle.

"What is it?" I walk back to her holding it like it would break any second.

"A personal item of my own." I answer back. She shrugs a little and takes a shaky step forward.

I hold onto her, my cloths tightened up on my body. Now that I notice it, I was taller, more muscular, and older looking. The vegetation overfilled the area around us.

I looked around, hoping for a signature of a landmark, hoping for a guide back to a road. I sighed and picked a direction and we went on.

After a few hours of walking, I finally found a quiet familiar dirt road and smiled.

"What got you so happy?" I looked down at her with my smile. Her eyes a glorious blue.

"This is the road to my old cabin." After more walking, and getting used to walking like humans again, my cabin was into view. And I looked nothing different. Just plant life growing on the walls.

The wood creaked under out weight. With a twist of the nob and a small push. The door swung open with a low screech.

Inside was everything as it was, but a few layers of dust coated everything. I walked in and flipped on the light switch. The lights flickered a little before lighting up, illuminating the room in dusty light.

The windows had cobwebs in them as well as the corners and doorways. I slowly walked in, a creak of wood in every step. I flicked another switch and my bedroom lit up. I traced my finger over a dusty wall, leaving behind a trail of dust less wall.

I looked to my left and saw my mirrors that were also doors to my closet. I slowly walked over to it and gave a big blow of air, blowing all the dust away, revealing a person back at me.

I was right, I was taller, at least 6ft 10, 7 ft. And much bigger in muscle, but not to much more. My violent purple eyes glowed with a burning passion. But a new accessory came up to me. Black teeth were tattooed to my face, just like my dragon jaws.
