THE TEAM REGROUPED again for dinner that night. Each agent completed their assignments and were eager to share everything they learned, but especially Spencer Reid.

"So the Fullers had painters and repairmen in their house before Gianna was abducted. What did Carina say?" Emily asked while opening her takeout container.

"Her landlord brought in everyone, including painters, repairmen, and landscapers. I tried to get in contact with him but he didn't answer my calls," Dr. Reid explained.

"Does she know any of the guys that did work?" Morgan asked.

"She didn't. All the bills went to the landlord. I think if we compare the servicemen that went to both houses, we could find our unsub."

"So it's between our repairmen and our painters," added David Rossi with a sip of his soda.

"I'll have Garcia look into who could've been working. J.J., how did that press conference go over?"

She let out a stressed sigh, "The local media was desperate for updates, Hotch. I let out our warning to young families, but they were prying for details."

"Did any slip?"

"No. I made sure of it. I also warned the sherif and deputy of the consequences if one of their officers leaked anything."

"Good. Morgan, did you make any waves on potential suspects?"

"Not really, Hotch. Garcia and I looked back fifteen years and found no reports of fires with infant deaths. The unsub isn't from anywhere close to here."

"Alright. Call her after dinner and try widening the search again," the unit chief demanded, getting a nod in response.

The agents took a few minutes to finish their meals before deciding to discuss the case again. They were desperately on the clock with only a day left before Desdemona ended up dead. They felt immense pressure, but Spencer was definitely feeling the worst of it. He poked at his salad, not having the guts to eat much at all. J.J. took notice quickly.

"Spence, you alright?" she whispered.

"Yeah," he replied. "I just want this case to be over with."

Jennifer nodded, "I know. We all do."

As the team wrapped up their meal, Spencer's phone began to ring from his bag. He jumped up and took it out.

"Hello," he answered.

"Hey, who the hell is this? I have five missed calls from this number. If this is scam, I'm calling the police."

"Hi, Mr. Danvers. I'm Dr. Spencer Reid with the F.B.I. I just have a few questions for you."
