This chapter was kinda difficult to write. I was trying to capture the jealousy but eh.
——————(Y/N) had been feeling....odd.
It was a new, foreign tug at her heart. One that gripped the beating muscle in a vice and dragged it to the depths of her stomach. The woman tried to place her finger on the source of the new feeling, but could never seem to figure out what the cause of it was. She thinks...perhaps she had felt this before. When she would witness the loving bond between Kyoujurou and his Father, something she never had and wished she did. It was like that, but there was a venom behind it.
That was...until she agreed to join Kyoujurou's training session with Kanroji.
(Y/N) felt that sickly emotion again, just from seeing them stand near each other. Especially whenever Kyoujurou would rest a supporting hand on his apprentice's shoulder, or help with adjusting her grip on the wooden katana they would use. The (H/C) wanted nothing more than to push the girl away from him. But (Y/N) knew that she was being unreasonable, and fear of perhaps displeasing Kyoujurou with her true feelings kept her from saying anything.
So she hid her increasing discomfort behind the natural blank face she always wore, pushing down these negative emotions to make room in her heart to like the new student.

"(L/N)-Sama!"
The aforementioned female turned to the source of her spoken name, seeing Kanroji sidling over.
"Good evening, Kanroji-San." The woman greeted, giving a light bow to which the girl returned deeply.
Mitsuri fiddled with the lapels of her kimono, "Um!!! I-I was wondering if you perhaps wanted to go to town and get dinner together?" She excitedly stuttered out, "You don't have to of course! B-but I understand that Rengoku-Sensei's gone at the moment and...ahhhh! I don't know!!!! Maybe this was a bad ide—"
"No no, that sounds nice." (Y/N) interjected, before Kanroji could fall into a downward spiral of panic.
Immediately, the pink haired girl's face lit up. She lightly squealed, grabbing (Y/N)'s cold hands, "That's great!!!! I'm so glad! When do you wanna leave?"
She took a moment to think, "...Now's alright. Give me a moment to let Senjuro know."
Mitsuri was an endless chatter box of sunshine. As (Y/N) listened to her babble, she began to feel guilty over the negative feelings she'd been harboring towards the girl.
"Here we are!" Kanroji announced. (Y/N) looked up from her fixated stare on the ground. They were in front of her favorite restaurant. The woman opened her mouth to speak, before closing it and glancing over to the other as if asking for an explanation. "Rengoku-Sensei told me how much you love spicy foods! So I thought this place would be a good pick...I've never gone here before but I heard it was good!"
"Yes, it's actually my favorite restaurant." (Y/N) replied nonchalantly as they entered the establishment.
"Woah! You serious? I'm glad I chose it then!!!" Soon the two females were seated, "Do you have any suggestions?"
The bill came out to be quite large, as expected after spending several dinners at home with Mitsuri prior to this night. The girl had a big appetite, to which she explained was to contain her strength. High muscle density.
As (Y/N) and Kanroji conversed, the (E/C) eyed female came to realize there was no ill intention from the girl. In fact, (Y/N) liked her a lot. She was a very kind hearted person, very bubbly, it was easy to speak with her.
