It was the day of the Kyuubi attack and Kushina was giving birth to triplets. While she was giving birth a masked man entered the room in a attempt to take the Kyuubi. Step away from the Jinchūriki Hokage. The masked man said. Minato was about to fight when he noticed the man had one of his children which was his first born Naruto. Now calm down and think rationally about this. Minato said. I am very calm hokage. The masked man said. He then trew Naruto in the air and had a kunai ready for Naruto to land on it. Minato hiraishined Naruto and the rest of his kids away to a bunker so he could fight. Minato returned to the room where Kushina was giving birth. As he hiraishined back to the room he noticed Kushina was gone and the Kyuubi was loose. He found Kushina knocked out and the masked man controlling the Kyuubi. Who are you? Minato demanded. I'm Madara Uchiha. 'Madara Uchiha' said. Minato couldn't go after 'Madara' because the Kyuubi was running loose.
Minato started to combat The Kyuubi to stop it from destroying the village. As the Kyuubi was destroying the village Chakra chains came out of nowhere and held down the Kyuubi. Minato traced the Chakra chains back to Kushina. Minato brings the infant Naruto to the altar to seal the Kyuubi in him. As Minato was about to seal the Kyuubi in Naruto, Hiruzen (3rd hokage) stopped him saying he was going to do the sealing. Minato let me do the sealing, I want to be with my wife in the afterlife and you still have to raise your kids with your wife. Hiruzen said. Hiruzen I am the hokage I need to sacrifice myself for my village. Minato said. I'm sorry Minato but I want to do this. Hiruzen said. He knocked out Minato and used the reaper death seal on Naruto to seal the Kyuubi in him. As he was sealing the Kyuubi in Naruto, The reaper saw that Naruto was going to a very horrible life ahead of him and give Naruto some gifts in the seal to help him when he is older.

'Naruto when you are older, be able to use the gifts I gave you now.' The reaper said in a demonic language. 'The gifts I gave you is Magma release, a meteorite sword, 4 Bowie knives, another tenant who you will meet later on, and a chain.' The reaper said.

The reaper was just sitting there for 15 minutes talking in a unknown language (demonic speak) before taking Hiruzen's soul. After Hiruzen's soul was taken by the reaper, Minato and Kushina thank Hiruzen for his sacrifice and sealing the Kyuubi. They left with Naruko and Mito and went home while they left Naruto on the ritual altar forgetting he existed completely even though Kushina just gave birth to him. As Naruto was laying on the ritual altar, Danzo found him and took him to the Root base to raise Naruto until he is 6 years old so he has someone to raise and train him. As Danzo was walking back to the ROOT HQ, he thought about helping Naruto get back at Minato for forgetting him.
