An Unexpected Kiss

Hinata's POV
When Kageyama told me he would try the quick, I got more than excited. This would be the first time we did it during this match. To be honest, I was just happy to have Kageyama toss to me.

I jumped as high as I could anticipating Kageyama's toss that would usually end up right in front of my palm. This time, it didn't. It was too far right. The ball was falling and I needed to do something quickly. I moved my right hand as fast as I could and barely hit the ball over the net. I got the point for my team, but it wasn't nearly as satisfying than if it were a spike. I looked over to Kageyama to see his facial expression. I had only ever seen it once before.

It was during a practice game against Seijoh. He set the ball to but instead of it getting to anyone, it went dropped on the floor.

I was the only one on the team that knew why he seemed so defeated. It was because it brought up bad memories from middle school from when his teams mates purposefully didn't go for the balls Kageyama set to show him how much of a "King" he was. This affected Kageyama a lot. Now that I think about..it's also probably the reason why he has so much trouble opening up.

That wasn't the issue at hand. Right now, my boyfriend is questioning himself and I need to help him somehow.

Before I knew it, I walked up to Kageyama, cupped his face in my hands and kissed him. Both of us turned red.

Oh, shit...what did I just do?
