Thursday was always a boring day , I kept glaring at the wall clock with an impatient expression . I always had a dislike for mathematics but I dared not show it to anyone especially not my father . My father was a high school mathematics teacher ,he adored and had a strong liking for mathematics and like himself he expected his children to do the same.

I couldn't hide my joy when after what seemed like a century the bell rang.l scooped my bag and rushed out of the class before father forced me to ride home with him. To my relieve he had extra work and didn't bother to call me .Gill ,my best friend was still copying something from the board, She didn't seem bothered by the angry expression that was temporarily plastered on my face to at least make her do things in haste

Gillian, please hurry up we are getting late for our operation .She nodded understandingly and reminded me that it was still early , the shops would be closing in five hours .wordless I entered her class which was pretty much closer to mine. Tired of sitting I decided to stare at people from the window.

Students were in a jovial mood perhaps it was because they were going home.My glance suddenly fell into this new face that I had not seen before.
He was a dark haired boy, with a pair of gorgeous dark brown eyes that slightly captivated me.
He had a perfect nose and full lips ,he had slightly high cheekbones and gosh , a sharp jawline .He was a few inches taller than me . From his facial expressions I could tell he was searching for someone among the many students that were walking out .He didn't search for long before a girl who was three classes lower than me, from the similarity in their features I could tell she was his sister.I could see a lot of affection for her from the way he immediately hugged her and gave her a peck on her rosy cheeks ,then he tightly held her hand and they walked away.
Were it not for Gill's breaths near my cheeks I couldn't have stopped casting my glance on the boy and his little sister. "The guy with the little girl is hot ", Gill whispered to me. Ha don't tell me your crushing hard for him I whispered back .Well I think you are the one crushing on someone this time , actually it's the first time .I gave her a disgusted look though inside I knew she was correct . The guy is good looking but nah he ain't my type I defensively murmured and what kind of type do you like Gillian said in between a laught er .I know I have never dated but that doesn't mean I am okay with just anyone ,I said .Gill had finished and we were now walking on the road . Then my mind shifted back to the stranger s face , my imagination was playing with
me when Gill mentioned about makeup and money and I got back to my senses and gave her a confused look that begged her to come up again .She gave me a wicked smile and started teasing me about thinking of the boy , she made faces at me then assured me that I was falling in love in case I did not know .

couldn't hide the blush on my cheeks, though I wanted to. I quickly lured away Gill's attention to the make up plan we had planned about. Gillian was an expert when it came to make up and stuff so I was sure she was the right person I needed at the moment Actually she was the one who convinced me with all this makeup stuff , after I told her about my number one insecurity that I thought made me not get a boyfriend unlike all the girls my age was my looks. She immediately brought up the make up idea which I didn't buy at first but after time she managed to convince me with her charms as she always says.We were busy talking about the make up products and didn't even notice we were Infront of the make up store. A pretty sales girl welcomed us in with a warm smile ,we immediately made our way in ,merry and curiosity getting the best part of us , our eyes kept darting everywhere . After what seemed like eternity Gill found what she was looking for a Mac brand .It was a whole set and it really looked good.
