I was just a normal 16 year old girl.
Avergage is how most people would descirbe me.
Im not special, at least thats what I thought until my life changed and I found out that maybe Im not as average as I thought.
My best friend Arie and I walking out of Coldstone, into the comfortable heat of the spring, with our ice creams in hand.
"Hey, what do you want to do now? What this being your good day in a long time." said Arie talking in that fast way she usually does with her cotton candy ice cream. Arie and I have been best friends since 7th grade, she has always had my back through thick and thin. Arie was more outgoing and social than I was, always trying to make new friends while i was alittle more judgemental and watchful. She was also more fashionable while I was comfortablw in my baggy clothes she preferred a more appealing way of dressing.
But anyways we have been friends forever. She, Azira, Haliey and Erin have been there for me forever and they are my family. " Maybe we should....", before I could finish my thought, I got this overwhelming uneasy feeling that someone was watching me. I looked over my shoulder but there was nothing there.
"Jazzy, Jazzy, Jasmina! What are you looking at?", Arie asked looking in the direction that i was looking in. I tried to shake the feeling and answer her question as I tunred back and put a causal smile on my face. " Why don't we just go to the movies. There is a movie I have been dying see." I said throwing a smile on my face ready to get out of this area. But I still couldn't shake that nagging feeling I was being followed.
? POV
We watched the two girls walk out of the ice cream shop as we stood in front of the building seeming casual and unnoticable.
"You think she is the one?", my partner asked causal as if talking about the weather his eyes not leaving the two girls as they stood and talked.
"I don't know yet.", I answered staring at the said point of interest still not sure if this lead was valid, like all the others.
"Well we don't have that much time."
"I know, I know.", i sighed turning back to my icecream as the girls turned away.
Oh Jasmina, are you what we are looking for?
