"hayden i'll be fine, i promise" i say to hayden as he holds a concerned face. he finally gives in, an empathy look plastered on his face. he's convinced i won't be okay if i sleep at home, but in reality i'll be completely fine. i'll lock up my doors and no one will get in. "okay, just stay safe" he says after kissing my forehead, i smile and nod and he leaves my house. i make my way up to my room and make sure every window is locked, and the doors. i climb into bed, locking my phone after sending a goodnight text to hayden. not soon after, i'm in a deep sleep.
my head shoots up whilst i hear banging downstairs, it might just be my dog wanting to be let outside. i turn on my flashlight from my phone, and look around my room to only see that she's on the bed next to me fast asleep. who the fuck is that. i immediately text hayden saying that there's banging going on downstairs but then i look up at the time and it's 4 am. he's asleep.
i walk downstairs, trying to make no noise possible and just my luck, my leg slips and misses a step, making me stumble down the stairs, only to face an empty downstairs, i sigh in relief and turn around. "hello princess" asher says, smiling then covering my mouth with a cloth, i try prying it off my mouth, but once again, to my luck i breathe in, not being able to hold my breathe for long. not soon after, darkness takes over me, but it's not sleep this time. it's me unconscious.
