Raining Hard

It's raining hard today,
Harder than all days.
It's thunderous,
Murderous,
As if the universe is venting its anger,
As if Neptune is pointing his staff to punish.

If I didn't run fast enough,
Or hide somewhere safe,
I might be a victim of its fury.
