First day

It was the first day back at Hogwarts and for James Potter, Peter Pettigrew, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black it was the first day ever.

Remus hugged his parents one more time and boarded the Hogwarts Express. He walked down the train hall looking for an empty compartment. Once he found one he walked in and sat down, putting his bag on the luggage rack. Remus had Sandy golden locks that went past his ears and covered his eyes at times as well as golden eyes that looked like honey. He picked up the book he was reading and opened it to the first page. See this was a new book that he got just for this train ride, but he did bring more because he was sure he'd need them for the train ride, you see Remus reads very fast.

James said goodbye to his parents and boarded the train, more excited than ever for his first day at Hogwarts. He looked around and saw a compartment with one lonely looking boy in it. He had Sandy hair and he was reading a book. He had scars on his face and hands but that didn't scare the extroverted, talkative, friendly James Potter. He walked in and the boy looked up.

"Can I sit?" James asked him.

The boy nodded and looked back down at his book.

"I'm James Potter," James introduced himself as he sat down.

"Remus Lupin," the boy said, a small grin on his face.

James smiled wildly.

"Nice to meet you mate," he replied.

Remus looked at the friendly-looking boy. He had messy black hair and bright hazel eyes. He had a smile so big that it almost didn't fit on his face but it seemed like it was there all the time.

Sirius walked onto the train and looked back at his un-smiling parents and his waving little brother. He walked down the train hall and went into a compartment with only two boys. He walked in and one boy with black hair and hazel eyes and round glasses smiled at him wildly. The other boy had Sandy hair that looked like it needed a cut and golden honey eyes, he had scars on his face and hands and Sirius guessed all over his body.

"Is it alright if I sit here?" Sirius asked.

"Of course," the black-haired boy smiled. "I'm James Potter,"

"Sirius Black," Sirius replied.

Both James and the other boys' eyes widened (as Sirius expected) for a second before going back to normal.

"Nice to meet you mate," James said, still smiling.

This, Sirius, did not expect. His family was a very well known, very rich, very mean family and he expected the boys to shuffle away from him or something.

"I'm Remus Lupin," the other boy told him, smiling a bit.

Remus Lupin. Sirius thought. Perfect name.

Sirius thought the name suited the seemingly quiet boy. He smiled at Remus and sat down. Remus went back to reading his book and James started to talk to Sirius.

Peter looked back at his parents with a worried look. They both gave him an encouraging smile and he walked onto the train. He was late as usual so the train was just about to leave and all the compartments were full. He saw only one compartment that had room for him. It held three boys, one having black hair and hazel eyes with a big smile on his face and black round glasses. Another having black hair and grey eyes, who was talking to the hazel-eyed boy. The third having overgrown Sandy hair and honey-coloured eyes with scars on his face. The honey eyed boy looked tall for his age, his limbs looking to long for his body. The grey-eyed boy seemed maybe just below the average height. The hazel-eyed boy looked about the right height for his age and looked very friendly.
