Sirius loved to draw. He loved it more than anything. He would draw anything and everything. He'd draw Hogsmeade, he'd draw Hogwarts, he'd draw the great hall, he'd draw his fellow students, but his favourite thing to draw was Remus. He'd draw Remus whenever he could, every chance he got. He had a sketchbook full of drawings of Remus.
One day, he was in detention for pranking professor McGonagall in class. Once he finally got out, he went up to the Gryffindor common room where James was asking Lily out for the fifth time that day, and Peter was doing the charms homework that had been assigned.
"Come on Evans!" James pleaded.
"For the last time Potter, NO!" Lily told him.
Sirius shook his head at his friend as he passed.
"Hey, Pete!" Sirius said, sitting next to his friend.
"Hey Sirius," Peter said, not even looking up from his books.
"You ok?" Sirius asked.
"This is hard," Peter said.
"Maybe Re will help you," Sirius suggested.
"Maybe," Peter said.
"Where is Re anyway?"  Sirius asked, looking around the common room for Remus.
"I think he's in the dorm," Peter said.
"Thanks, mate, good luck," Sirius said. And with that, he got up and walked up the stairs into the common room.
He opened the door to see Remus, sitting on Sirius' bed, looking through his sketchbooks. Pages and Sketchbooks were scattered all over his bed. But, Remus had one in his hands, looking through it. Sirius paused in the doorway, surprised by what he had seen. Remus was so indulged in the drawings that he didn't see or hear Sirius come in. Then, Sirius' eyes were drawn to which sketchbook Remus was holding in his hands. It was the sketchbook that he had filled with drawings of Remus! Sirius' whole body filled with panic then.
"Moony!" Sirius exclaimed.
Remus looked up from the sketchbook to see a startled Sirius standing in the doorway.
"Padfoot?" Remus asked. "Are these yours?"
Sirius' whole face went red.
"Come here," Remus said, motioning his head to the bed.
So, silently and shyly, Sirius walked over to his bed and sat next to Remus.
"Did you draw these?" Remus asked, motioning to the sketchbook he was holding and all the sketchbooks and pieces of parchment on the bed.
"Yeah," Sirius said quietly.
"They're really good," Remus told him.
Sirius' face went redder. Not only did Remus see his drawings, but he saw the one sketchbook that was filled with Remus!
"Pads?" Remus asked.
"Yea," Sirius replied, his head down.
"You've drawn a lot of me," Remus said, his voice going quieter too.
"Yea," Sirius said.
"Do you... do you.... like me?" Remus asked.
Sirius didn't say anything, what could he say. How was he supposed to admit to his crush and his best friend, that not only was he GAY, he was also in love with him.
"Pads?" Remus asked again.
Remus lifted Sirius' head up so that they were looking eye to eye.
"Do you like me?" Remus repeated.
"Yeah, yeah I do," Sirius admitted.
Remus was taken aback. The boy that he had had a crush on for the longest time, just admitted that he liked him.
Sirius took Remus' silence for a rejection. So, Sirius started to get up. Remus grabbed Sirius' wrist and kissed the boy.
Sirius was surprised, but he kissed back. It was better than he had ever imagined. Same with Remus.
"I like you too," Remus said, his forehead pressed against Sirius'.
"Wha- really?" Sirius asked surprised.
"Really," Remus said.
Sirius smiled. Remus smiled.
