A/N again this story is very short but the stories will probably be about this length.

"Reeeeeemmmmuuuussss," Sirius whined.

Remus sighed, not replying.

"Mooonnnnyyyy," Sirius continued.

Remus still didn't reply.

"Mooooonnnnsssss," Sirius exclaimed.

"What Padfoot?" Remus sighed.

He had been trying to study for the past hour and Sirius wasn't helping.

"I'm booorrreeedddd Moony," Sirius whined.

"Well then go do something," Remus said.

"But I wanna do something with yoooooouuuuu," Sirius told him.

"I'm trying to study Pads," Remus said gently.

He was wearing an oversized beige jumper that went past his hands and he had to push his sleeves back so he could write and read. He was sitting at a table in the common room.

Sirius was sprawled across the couch, his hair a big mess.
Remus' hair needed a cut, it seemed to need a cut a lot, and he had to keep pushing it out of his eyes. Sirius' hair was about the same length as always, still a long, thick, shiny black mess.

"Pleeeeaaassseeee Rem," Sirius begged.

"Sirius I'm trying to study," Remus repeated.

"Pleeeaasseee Rem read to meeee," Sirius begged.

Remus had made the mistake of telling Sirius that he was writing a book. And after that Sirius nagged him for days and days to show it to him. After making Sirius promise not to tell anyone that he was writing a book and not to make fun of it he finally gave in and started to read the book to Sirius, knowing that Sirius hated to read himself.

"I'll read to you later Pads I'm trying to study," Remus told him.

"But you're always studying," Sirius said. "Please Rem,"

Sirius loved it when Remus read to him. He loved his voice when he read books and he loved his writing. And more than anything he loved his company. I suppose that's what happens when you're insanely in love with your best friend and he had no idea.

Remus did love to read to Sirius. His books and writing (as well as any other book Remus read to him) seemed to be one of the only things that Sirius took seriously (no pun intended). And Remus too loved Sirius' company. As I said, I suppose that's what happens when you're insanely in love with your best friend and he has no idea.

"Pllleeeeeaaaasssseeee Moons," Sirius begged.

Remus sighed. He wasn't going to get anything done with Sirius.

He closed his book and turned around in his seat. Sirius was looking at him with puppy dog eyes. Remus knew he couldn't say no to those.

"Yes, Pads?" Remus sighed.

"Please read to me Moons!" Sirius whined.

Remus sighed again.

"Ok, Come on," he said gently, standing up.

"Yay," Sirius said, standing up with him.

They walked up to the dorm room and walked in. Both James and Peter were out.

James was trying to win Lily over for the 100th time this week. Peter was trying to study in the library. Which was what Remus probably should have done but the library was cold and the common room was warm, so Remus picked the common room because he was always cold.

They sat down on Remus' bed and Remus looked under his bed where he kept his jumpers and his books as well as the book he is writing. He pulled out the book that he's writing and sat back upon his bed.

"Thank you Moons," Sirius smiled. It was a soft, sweet smile and it made Remus melt.

Remus smiled back a bit and opened up to where they left off.

He started to read and Sirius was entranced by the story and Remus' voice. He loved when Remus read to him. Actually he loved when Remus did anything.

After about an hour Remus stopped reading for he had not finished the book yet and there was not any more to read.

Sirius looked at Remus. He was wearing one of his many, many oversized jumpers. His eyes were bright as they scanned across the pages, his voice was soft and gentle as he read what he had written. His whole look had made Sirius melt.

He put the book down and looked at Sirius who was smiling a small, sweet, gentle smile that made Remus' heart melt once more.

"That was amazing Moons," Sirius smiled.

"Thanks, Pads," Remus smiled.

They stayed in the dorm room talking on Remus' bed for the rest of the day. About an hour later James and Peter walked in but when they saw Remus and Sirius, who hadn't even noticed them walk in, smiling and talking in soft voices looking so content and happy in their own little world they backed out of the room and closed the door quietly behind them.
