THE ONE: 007

General POV

As soon as Sam comfortably seated beside Ion, the guy finally started driving towards his company. The ride is noiseless and awkward is an understatement. Wala sa kanila ang gustong mag salita. 

Sam grabbed her phone from her bag. She forgot to inform her mother that she will be staying at her boss' place. Just after she unlocked her phone, Sam immediately dialed her mom's pnone number. She hopes the her boss won't mind.

After few rings, her mother answer.

"Goodmorning, ma"  kinakabahan siya baka mapalayas siya nang wala sa oras.

"Saan ka kagabi?" her mother's cold voice shivered down to her spine. Look's like she really doomed.

"uh... n-natulog po ako sa bahay ng boss ko"  oh shit, wrong choice of words, she thought. 

"Ano?!" "Ma, don't misunderstand. His mom insisted na dun nalang daw ako matulog kasi delikado sa daan" she explained.

"Bakit ka napunta don?" patuloy na pagtanong ng mama niya. "u-uh... p-pag uwi ko nalang po kekwento sa inyo late na po ako" pag rason niya. Soon after she ended the call and set her phone back to her bag.

She noticed that, it's surely not the way to the company. She was about to ask when her boss' spoked.

"don't ask anymore, where heading to your house" Ion uttered. Her mouth when ajar when she heard those words.

"to my house?! alam niya san ako nakatira?!"  she internally panicked.

She slowly looked at her boss, "uh, sir, can i ask one question?" Ion just nodded. "H-how'd you know where i live?" Sam asked with her low voice but still audible. "your resume, obviously" Ion said typical with his cold tone. She iternally headpalmed with her silly question.

"bobohan mo pa, sam." she scolded herself.

Sam's POV

i do not in any way noticed that we already arrived in my house. "we're here." my boss spoke. "sir, bakit niyo po ako hinatid dito?" gusto niya ba talaga na pahirapan ako? bwisit to.

"i heard that you have some explaining to do to your mom so i sent you here." oh. "p-pero ma lelate na po ako." pag i-insist ko sa kanya. "i know and i'll wait for you so make it fast. i don't like waiting for too long." minsan talaga di ko maintindihan tong lalakeng to. wala akong magawa kundi um-oo nalang tutal nandito naman na ako.

I entered and saw my mom washing the dishes. "Ma." i called her attention. "anong ginagawa mo dito? male-late ka na" she said and went towards me. "ma, galet ka ih" parang batang sabi ko. "buti naman alam mo. hindi mo ba alam kung gaano akong nag alala sayo?" sabi ni mama at kinurot ang tagiliran ko. i explained my side and she gladly my mom understoods. 

"ma, i got to go. nasa labas po yung boss ko" i said and kissed my mom's cheeks. she nodded in response and i immedietely went out.

i saw my boss' car still waiting for me outside. i instantly opened the car's door and ambled inside. He looked at me waiting for me to say something. "sorry po kung naghintay kayo ng matagal." i said and timidly smiled. Ang intimidating talaga neto. "not at all." he said with his usual tone. 

who are you really? why do you seem so familiar for me?

My thoughts got interuped as he spoke. I flinched slightly. "Thank you." he said out of the blue. Sakin niya ba sinasabi yon? "P-po? Ako po ba kausap niyo" i asked him "who else?" humarap siya sakin at agad din itinuon ang atensyon sa daan. Sungit. 

"Para san po?" i saw him sighed "for giving me a company when you really don't have to" he said still eyes on the road. i nodded multiple times, "ohh, wala po yun" i gave him my genuine smile. He faced me, "Still thank you." 

"Mom's right i shouldn't have brought you trouble. I-im s-sorry about that." he continued. He stuttered when he said he's sorry. I think i get it why. "I don't mind, sir. it's no beggie." i smiled at him and he nodded. 

After minutes of driving we finally arrived. I saw how the employees looking at us suspiciously. As the case may be because we went out at the same car and entered together. 

"Sir, punta lang ako sa cafeteria. I'll buy your usual coffee. Hahatid ko nalang po sa inyo" i smiled after. He just nodded. "Buy for yourself to." i nodded and sweetly smiled. Flirt!

-hi hehe. this update was supposed to be yesterday but i accidentally deleted it hahaha therefore, kailangan kong ulitin to using my laptop kasi nagloloko yung wattpad ko sa phone.
