Falling for the Chase

Prolouge

There's a soothing necromancy to the sounds of the tree that cannot be found out anywhere else. I sat on the bench with the sun setting and the sugary wind touching my face roughly. I closed my eyes and listened to the tree teems and hisses, scraping the other branch of the trees, but of course, such scene wouldn't be complete without the smell of the man that wafting up your nostrils-- wait, what?

I immediately gaze at my surroundings, to know where the hell that smell came from, and then i found out, the smell came from him. The guy who's sitting right next to me, fixing his shoe lace.

My eyes widened and my lips parted because of shock, when someone hit him in the head and kicked by a group of men.

What the fuck is that? am I dreaming?

They've already started to blow a lot of punch on that guy, but i am here, sitting at the edge of the bench, watching him to get beaten so hard. Hindi sila naka school uniform attire, so i think they are outsiders. They're just wearing a jeans and black polo.

What should I do in this kind of situation? I only see those kind of fight scenarios on movies, kaya I'm so shock na may live bugbugan dito.

I saw they're grabbing the guy's collar, and asking some questions which I have no idea what it's all about.

I shook my head to removed the shock from my system, I looked at them and scanned their faces. These men in front of me difinitely looked familiar, I think i already saw them inside Tita Blaze's office before?

"Hoy! Itigil niyo 'yan!" I said it in a very loud voice. And now I got their attention.

Oh, shit! I know little about self defense, but I don't know if that's enough to save us both, we're here in the school garden, we had a fucking class! first cut ko ngayon tapos ganito? Hopefully, someone will come here to save us.

"E, andito na pala yung hinahanap natin e!" The one who hit the guy on the head said, he laugh together with his weird disciples. He glared at me strangely with his disturbing smirk.

Huh? hinahanap? who? me?

They're slowly coming closer to me. I almost stumbled and then I looked around to see if there's anything I can use for to protect myself, nothing is in here except to the flowers, trees and some bushes. Fuck! I'm a dead meat now, what am I gonna do?!

I'm shaking as hell! why did I enter this kind of situation! argh! but I should not show them that i'm nervous!

I stood up straight and put my hand in my skirt pocket, I felt an immediate sense of hope, when I groped a bottle of perfume in my pocket, siguro naman pwede ito, ano? I glance at the guy i saw earlier, he was already lying down on the grass beside the plants.

"Halika dito miss!!" I was stunned a bit when one of them grabbed my wrist, it's a good thing that I'm alert so that i get rid of it quickly and sprayed the perfume in his eyes.

"Aray ko! Pota!!" Napaupo sya habang hawak-hawak ng dalawa nyang kamay ang mata nya, susugudin na sana ako ng mga kasama nya but the bell rang, agad naman siyang tinulungan makatayo at sabay silang tumakbo.

"O! ano kayo ngayon! wala pala kayo e!" I shouted at them, mayayabang lang ang kupal parang bell lang takbuhan na agad, mga kumag!

I immediately run over the guy who's laying down on the grass, I sit on his side and examine him, he have so many bruises and blood in his nose because of what happened.

"Hey! can you hear me?? kaya mo bang maglakad?" I asked while softly tapping his cheeks, he opened his eyes and raised both of his brows.

"Y-yeah...how 'bout you? are you alright?" he said , almost whispering and he close his eyes again, I just nod even though I know that he wouldn't see it, that time I realized that he is good looking, he have that thick eyebrows, pointed nose, long eyelashes, and a kissable lips, he have this mysterious aura.

"Stop staring at me, and just bring me to the clinic.." I almost jump off because of his sudden talk, oo nga Blair! dadalhin mo muna sya sa clinic bago sa kama!
