"Does everyone have their passports?" Elton asks, for what seems like the millionth time.
"Yes..." We all mumble back, still half asleep. I'm so excited for this trip. I love traveling with Sam, and Elton and Corey are the most amazing people to be around. Hm, I wonder what seats we'll be sitting in. I hope I'm next to Sam.
"All first class passengers may board flight A-97521, direct to Brisbane Airport." The announcer lady says into her microphone.
"HaHA!" Corey smirks, "bye peasants!" as he and Elton walk off towards the boarding line. I stick my tongue out at him and sit down next to Sam.
"This trip is going to be amazing!" Sam smiles at me, "I'm so excited!"
"I know right!" I reply, "and knowing Elton, he planned some crazy, but amazing things to do!" Sam shifts a little closer to me on the bench, and my stomach flutters a little. Weird. Our thighs are brushing now and I can feel how warm Sam is. What's going on? I turn to Sam, about to ask him, but the announcer lady interrupts me.
"All Delta Comfort Plus passengers may board flight A-97521, direct to Brisbane Airport." We both get up and walk towards the door that will lead on to the plane. The moment, whatever it was, is over.
