COLBY'S POV
*Time skip: 16 hours*
The plane finally landed after what felt like an eternity. But I was kind of sad to get up, because that meant I had to leave Sam. And after what we did, I felt that nothing was going to happen, and it would just be awkward between us for the rest of the trip.
"WELCOME TO BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA. THE LOCAL TIME IS 2:36 PM. THANK YOU FOR FLYING WITH DELTA AIRLINES, AND WE HOPE YOU CHOOSE TO FLY WITH US AGAIN SOON."
We all finally got off the plane, and I stuck close to Sam's side. I wanted to hold hands with him again, but I didn't want Elton and Corey to notice that something was up. I really need some time to think about this. I don't know what's going on, and I'm not sure where I want this to go. I walked a little closer to Sam, and he smiled at me. My heart melted. I loved Sam, I knew that. But in what way? as friends, or more?
ELTON'S POV
Sam and Colby were walking really close to each other, and Sam was smiling at Colby. Hm. I really need to know what's going on here, but for now, I need to focus on getting our rental car and driving to the hotel. I walk up to the customer support desk and ask them where Hertz Rentals are.
"To the left and down the hallway sir," the man responds.
"Ok, cool, thanks." I reply. I glance back at Sam and Colby and they're giving each other really lovey-dovey looks. They would be really cute together, I admit to myself. But aren't they straight? Sam was dating Kat for the longest time, and Colby, well, he's Colby, and has always been blatant that he's straight. This is the strangest situation.
We walk down towards the parking and pick out a black SUV. I hop in the driver's seat, and Corey sits shotgun.
"Keep an eye on them," I whisper when Sam and Colby are loading their bags into the trunk. "I want to see what they're going to do."
"Ok" he whispers back.
