chapter 4 talking with old friends

As I looked at Amber I took a deep breathe then I began, it started in the 6th grade me and Zach we bestfriend we did everything together . He was so nice then everyday he would come to my house first thing in the morning and wait in the living room until I was done getting dressed then we would walk to school together and we would just talk about whatever. Then 7th grade came around and we were still just as strong , our bond actually grew over the summer. But then 8th grade came and he was failing two classes , and I didn't want him to fail to I agreed to be his tutor , so he would come over my house every tuesday, thursday , and friday . But one Friday he came over he was so heartbroken and drunk , his girlfriend had broke up with him so I tried to help him and then I " Nicholas it's time for your company to leave you have to get ready for school tomorrow " . What no you have to finish what did you do Nick , I'll tell u some other time . Hubbub find you better tell me though , ok Amber I am I'll see you tomorrow at school she just shook her head as she walked out my front door . Once she left I went back into my room and I began looking through my contacts til I came to Eddie's number, I began texting a message to him but then I became hesitant on sending it but on accident I sent it. I then eagerly awaited for him to reply , over the time of waiting for him to reply my eyes got really heavy the next thing I knew I was sleep. When I woke up I checked my phone to see 4 new messages from Eddy, hey bud Wyd? ,what are u doing Saturday bud? ,I was wandering did u wanna go to the movies, well I guess your sleep so gn bud. Omg now only does he want me to come over his house today he wants to go to the movies Saturday omg he might like me no no no no get a hold of yourself he's straight he's just being friendly that's all. So I texted him back , I'm not doing anything Saturday I don't mind going to the movies with you , what movie are going to see ?, after I sent the message I began getting ready for school . I walked into my bathroom and got in the shower as usual ,as I stood there in the shower all I could think about was , Ed why was he being so nice to me most boys don't talk to me but he did ..... why? I don't know but I do know if I continue to stand here thinking about it I'm pretty sure I'm going to drive myself crazy ,so I got out dried off then I brushed my teeth and as I looked at myself in my mirror I just thought to myself , I think I'm going dye my hair I'm sick of my natural blonde hair . After I got out the bathroom I went into my closet and grabbed my black v-neck with my black skinny jeans that had rips going all the way down and a black beanie with my pocket chains , then I bent down and got my black low cut boots. Once I was dressed i grabbed my bag and phone and went down stairs , my mom wasn't here this morning but she left a note and 20$ on the counter the note said , sorry Nick but I had to leave earlier then usual for work but here's 20$ so on your way to school you can stop and get yourself something to eat love mom. I just threw the note away grabbed the 20 and my keys and left out on my way to school I stopped at Duncan Donuts and got a bag of glazed donuts and a cup of coffee then I went straight to school. When I got there Zach was in the parking lot it looked as if he was waiting for someone, so I parked and then I pulled down my mirror and pulled out my comb and combed my hair over my eyes to try to avoid Zach but as I did I heard a tap on my window , so I rolled my window down to see Zach , my eyes got big with fear but before I could roll it back up he grabbed my shirt "look fag we need to talk unlock the door and get into the passenger seat" . I just did as he said , once I did he got in and we drove off . As we left I saw Amber looking at us as we drove off but she couldn't see it wasn't me driving due to my tinted windows . As we drove down the rode I tried not to look at Zach but I could see him looking over at me then he looked away , and then he pulled into a parking lot and I could recognize where we were , we were at the big  hill  we use to come here  when we were friends  The hill looked over the whole town then he got out " well we're here get out" he said so I did then he  walked over by the big oak tree and set down and I just stood there watching and studying him trying to figure out what he was thinking . " Come on come sit down " , he said so I did and as I set down he jumped on me pressing his body to mines and with one arm he pinned both of my arms down with the other  arm he put his hand in my face pointing then he said " look Nick you better not tell my sister anything she doesn't need to know about our history ", and out of rage I yelled back " I already did I told her you " before I could finish he put his hand over my mouth , "shhhh shut the fuck up you better not dare say it and how could you we promised to never talk about it again" . Then he uncovered my mouth so I could talk
Nick: we never promised anything you started bullying me from that point forward to today.

Zach: I'm not bullying you now we're talking.

Nick: if we just "talking" as you say why are you pinning me to the grass restraining my hands!!

Zach: I'm only doing this so you won't do what you did again.

Nick: so I won't do what this , after that point I stretched my head and neck up and kissing Zach I then began to feel his grip loosen on my hands then he let go and wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck deepening the kiss then he broke the kiss and got up and walked away to the hill front and put his hands on his head I could tell he was deep in thought then as I got up he  walked over to me and pushed me to the tree then he pinned me to the tree "no one in school better  know about this then he walked towards the car , then I yelled out and I walked to the car as well "who am I going to tell I have no friends then we got in the car and drove back to school.
