There are many times of addictions. You can be addicted to anything; love, drugs, sex, chocolate, cutting (self-harming), drinking, ect.
But some can be more dangerous than others.
I know people that have lost their loved ones because of dangerous addictions. I've seen them break down, cry, suffer, and fall into a deep depression.
You may say:
"You've never gone through it. You don't know how hard it is."
Well, you're right, I don't. But I saw a loved one go through it. And I know it breaks you inside to see them that way.
