"Ni- Niall..?" Harry woke himself up with the moan of a certain omegas name. His hands were on the mattress, patting up and down, searching for soft blonde hair and even softer pale skin. There was nothing. He pushed himself up onto his elbows, squinting out into the middle of his room. The sun blazed through the window, and it was then that he remembered everything. Oh. They'd fallen asleep, earlier that day.. That's right.. It must only be midday by now. Harry gazed around through clouded eyes. Niall was nowhere to be seen. Fuck. Had he scared him away? He knew he could be intense sometimes - care too deeply, too quickly. Maybe he'd stuffed it all up. Maybe Niall had left, wanting nothing more to do with him. He forced himself out of bed, pulling the clothes on, that were not too long ago, abandoned at the floor of his bedside. He hoped Niall was still here. Still in his house cooking food or watching tv. Harry loved the idea of that.

Meanwhile, Niall was padding around the kitchen in an oversized shirt he'd borrowed from Harry. It hung off his shoulders, and made him look smaller. He was preparing them a simple lunch of ham and cheese sandwiches. He let out a yawn and stretched. Maybe a second nap was in order after their morning shenanigans.

The sound of the sink running out front, had Harry's ears pricking to attention. He breathed a sigh of relief, as he pushed open his bedroom door. He moved slow and languid towards the living room, hoping he'd catch a glimpse of Niall in his cooking frenzy again. He was almost right.. It was close enough to what he'd wished for. Niall was slicing bread & pouring juice.. Looking gorgeous with pale legs and Harry's tshirt hanging from his slim frame. Okay.. It was definitely what he'd wished for.

"I'm happy you're still here Ni.. I wasn't sure if you would be.." Harry smiled warmly at him, plopping himself back on the couch, still gazing up towards the kitchen where Niall moved around with ease.

"Why would I just leave after finding my soulmate?" Niall yawned, while placing the sandwiches in a hot pan to fry.

"Don't know.. Thought maybe there could be second thoughts.. You know, after the high wore off and all.." Harry kept his eyes glued to Niall as he watched him cook. There was something about the action that was so domestic, so hot. So appealing to Harry. He'd never tell Niall that though.

"What do you want to do Ni? We've got the rest of the day together?"

"Why do I have to decide?" Niall chuckled, flipping the bread to sizzle.

"Well.. I thought you didn't like to be told what to do.. I'm giving you the reins here.." Harry laughed with him. He could be here all day arguing with Niall - though all in good nature.. And he actually couldn't think of anything else he'd rather do!

Niall shook his head. "Okay, so you're being difficult on purpose. Gotcha," he laughed, pouring two cups of juice.

"Maybe a little on purpose.. But then, so are you.." The alpha replied, trying to appear casual on the surface, but meanwhile, he was racking his mind for things he thought Niall might like to do today. Maybe he'd like to stay here, in the apartment.. Watch a movie or two? Eat, sleep, make out? Stay the night.. Maybe? Harry didn't know if that was pushing it. He'd leave it up to Niall to choose his sleeping arrangements.

Niall just rolled his eyes and served up the food when it was ready. "Here's lunch."

Harry stood to his feet and made his way over to the kitchen. He took a hold of his plate in one hand and attempted to slide the other around Nialls waist.

"Yum.. Thanks love.. Do you wanna watch a movie? We can stay here for the rest of the day and relax?" Harry hoped the boy would agree.. He hoped he wouldn't need to run off to work or anything.. Not yet at least!

"Hmmm.. What kind of movie?" Niall picked up his own food and moved to the couch.

"Whatever you want! We can look through them.. Maybe there's a series we could find." Harry followed closely behind Niall, setting his plate on the coffee table, he took a seat next to the boy. He pulled down a blanket from the top of the lounge and laid it over both their legs. Then he leant forward to fetch the remote, flicking onto Netflix, and scrolling through the drop menu. Of course, like it happened to everyone, they spent ten minutes going back and forth between tv shows and movies, nothing piqued their interest. Harry handed the remote to Niall and watched as the blonde boy did the same.
