"When's the last time you ate?" CC asked.
"A few hours ago"
"Want me to make you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?"
"No thanks, I don't like peanut butter." I said.
"Alright.. Well there's a really good pizza place in town, wanna go with me?" He questioned shyly.

"Yeah sure uh do you have makeup I can use quick?"

"Duhh!" He answered and pointed to the bathroom.
I opened the first drawer and there was a box of tampons. Well that's good to know. I opened the second drawer and it was filled with makeup. When I finished my eyeliner, I followed CC to his car.

When we got to the restraunt, CC ordered a large cheese pizza and when it came, we had it gone in about 5 minutes. After the waitress took the tray away, we sat there talking about our past, and it was pretty sad to think about the things he went through as a kid. When we went up to pay the bill, there was a small basket of plastic rings on the counter. "What's your favorite color?" He asked.

"Purple."

He pulled a purple ring from the basket, got down on one knee, and at that point everyone was staring at us.
"Breanne, I know we haven't known each other that long but... Will you pay for the pizza?"
I played along, "OH MY GOSH YES!" Before I could pull out my money, he was already handing the waitress cash. On the drive home he said, "As long as you have that, we'll be best friends."
I just smiled and stared down at my plastic ring that I now cherished. When we got back to the house, Andy and Juliet were on the couch watching a movie. I yawned and Andy said, "Hey Bree! Oh tonight the guys are staying here, there's an extra bedroom upstairs at the end of the hallway if your tired."

"Oh thanks, I'm gonna head to bed then." I turned to Christain, "Thanks for dinner."

"Goodnight." He said smiling in the cutest way.
I went upstairs in search of the bedroom. I saw a door open a crack and went to see if it was the room. I opened the door and Jinxx and Sammi were banging. "EW JINXX GET A FUCKING HOTEL!!!"

"Ahh get out get out!" He yelled.
I went to the next room down and knocked on the door first. When nobody answered, I went in and plopped down on the bed. I was tired, I pretty much fell right asleep.

A few minutes later I was woken up by Sammi moaning next door. I grabbed the first thing I could reach and threw it at the wall. "Hey guys go fuck somewhere else!" I yelled.

The next morning I woke up to CC sitting on the bed next to me. "Were you... Watching me sleep?" I asked.

"No, I was coming in to wake you up for breakfast, but then I saw this." He held up something small. Oh shit. It was my blade, it must have fallen out of my pocket.

"Bree, why do you keep a blade with you?" He questioned

"Because I don't have a knife, so I use that to like... open things." I replied.
He pulled up my sleeve and saw my cuts.

"Breanne. How long have you been doing this?"

"Since my dad started beating me, and I started getting made fun of at school." I said.

He put the blade in this pocket and walked out with tears in his eyes.

I sat up and looked around. There was a TV remote on the floor by the wall. That's what must've thrown last night.
I went downstairs to see Jinxx making breakfast. "Hey uhh... Sorry about last night. I hope breakfast will make up for it."

He set a plate in front of me with eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, and strawberries piled on it. "Hope your hungry" He said in a sarcastic tone. Andy and Juliet came downstairs and grabbed breakfast too.
Andy looked at me, "Hey, how did you sleep last night princess?"
"Good I guess. The bed is really comfy."
