It must be Saint. They must have got in a fight or something. As I walk down the hall I am surprised to see Saints mom crying in her room.

"Ruby what's wrong?" I ask her.

"Oh it's just that, well I don't know if I should tell you dear. I don't want to drag you into something that isn't your business."

"Is it about Saint?" I ask

"No it's about Mia."

My nosey trait got the best of me... "Well you can tell me anything. Your secrets safe with me."

"You won't tell Saint?" She asks

"Yes." Finally some good dirt on her! What could it be! I know I just said I wouldn't tell Saint but I could make it seem like an accident that way she doesn't think that I betrayed her trust and that way Saint might break up with her depending on how bad whatever she did was.

"Well I drove Mia home today because Saint didn't want to pick her up." She wipes a tear then continues "The ride home with her was quite."

Ugh would she just get to the tea?

"But the way she just looked out the window I-" a few more tears room down her checks. "I could tell that she had a pure heart full of love."

Somehow my bottom jaw unhinged and I just started blankly at Ruby.

"She looks like such a sweet girl and she's beautiful too. I can tell that she only thinks the best of people. I just don't want Saint to break her heart."

I'm speechless. She waits for me to respond but I can't find my words.

After a few moments of silence I start walking out and say "uh that's and interesting opinion."

I scurry out of the room and bump into Saint standing right by the door.

I glance and Ruby and all I can see is pure panic on her face. Saint suddenly runs down the stairs and outside.

I follow him and get to the steps just in time to see home climb in his car and drive off.

Oh no.
